This week we explored our senses by playing 'what's in the box'. Placing our hands in the box, feeling the object and saying what we thought it was. π€

Our summer trip this year was to the Playbarn in Poringland.
A day of exploring the sand barn, tractors and ride-ons, lots of role play in the castle, village shop, farm and wooden vehicles and of course lots of climbing, jumping, balancing and sliding in the soft play area. After all that, we definitely worked up an appetite for an ice cream!π§
A big Thank You to The Playbarn and driver Callum at Norfolk Coachways and to Carleton Rode Social Club for paying for our trip π

πΌ Confused about childcare funding?
There are so many schemes and age bands, it can feel like a maze. Hereβs a quick, friendly guide to help:
β¨ From 9 months old β Some working parents can now get funded hours.
β¨ From age 2 β More families qualify, including some on certain benefits.
β¨ From age 3β4 β Every child gets 15 hours of funded childcare, and working parents could get up to 30!
A few things to remember:
π
Funding starts the term after your childβs birthday.
π Youβll need to apply before the term starts (31 March, 31 August, 31 December are the key dates).
π° You can even combine funding with Tax-Free Childcare or Universal Credit to make it go further.
Itβs all designed to make returning to work, or just catching a breather a bit easier!
