ATHE is proud to welcome SimVenture as the newest ATHE Strategic Partner.

We’re pleased to announce ATHE’s partnership with SimVenture, a UK-based EdTech company bringing business learning to life through award-winning simulation tools.

To mark the partnership, ATHE CEO Alex Birks was delighted to welcome Mark Barber to the ATHE head office, alongside Project Manager, Lina Elkadi. We discussed our collaboration, our upcoming EdTech platform; ATHE Academy, development of a co-branded digital badge to recognise learner engagement and further updates.

Through this partnership, ATHE Academy students will have access to SimVenture’s Evolution product at a reduced rate. This is an online business simulation designed to help learners build practical business, entrepreneurship and decision-making skills in a safe, interactive environment.

Based in Wayne, New Jersey, USA, William Paterson University provides eligible ATHE learners with a progression route to its online Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Through this route, learners who successfully complete the required units from the ATHE Level 7 Extended Diploma in Strategic Management and meet William Paterson University’s entry requirements may be eligible to progress onto the online MBA programme.

This partnership provides ATHE learners with a structured and efficient pathway from UK-regulated qualifications to a US-accredited university degree.

Through the progression routes, eligible learners can complete approximately 75% of the required degree credits through ATHE-approved centres before progressing to their final year online with Ottawa University.

Progression routes include:
• Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA)
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS)

The final year of study is completed online with Ottawa University, supporting a flexible and cost-effective pathway for learners who wish to progress to a US bachelor’s degree without the need to travel to the United States.

The visit provided an opportunity to discuss our ongoing partnership, including the development of ATHE Academy, the learner experience, and how the Kaplan Test of English can support accessible English language assessment for learners preparing for academic progression.

During their visit, we explored the KTE platform, future digital learner support and potential partner synergies, while reinforcing our shared commitment to improving learner outcomes across ATHE’s global network.
