Premier Flight Training "Beginning Your Journey" Premier Flight Training Flying Courses:

We offer the Private Pilots Licence. This can also be Module 1 of a Commercial Course.

This EASA Licence requires a MINIMUM Total of 45 Hours Flight Time, which must include:

A minimum of 25 Hours Dual Flight Time. A minimum of 10 Hours Solo Flight Time. A Class 2 EASA Medical is required for the PPL, and this has to be taken with a CAA Approved Doctor. A class 1 medical is required for The CPL Module. There is no maximum time period as such, and therefore you can spread the flying

lessons to suit your time and pocket. However it is recommended to maintain continuity, that you should try to take a lesson at least every 2 weeks. The CPL Module can be completed part or full time. We offer customised workbooks, ground school, and examination facilities on site. To add to your EASA PPL we can offer a Night Qualification (mandatory for The CPL), and An Instrument Meteorology Condition Rating, and Multi Engine Piston Rating this can also be part of The CPL Modular Course. The Night Certificate is a course based on 5 hours of flight at night. 3 hours of which must be Dual flight, and 5 Solo Take Off and Landings must be logged. There must be at least 1 hour of Night Navigation included in the Dual. The Instrument Rating (Restricted) is the IMC UK National Rating, and although can only be used in UK Airspace, it allows much greater flexibility and a greater margin of safety with regard to cross country flights. The IMC rating is a Minimum course of 15 hours flying with reference to instrument flying and operational procedures. Multi Engine Piston rating in our Piper Seneca II (PA34 200T) aircraft. You need 70 hours after your PPL to start the MEP. It is a 6 hour course plus test, and Ground Examination. Commercial Pilot’s Licence course is 25 hours, part of which is completed on The Twin. There is flight test and the theory examinations must be complete. This is the 4th Module of the Commercial course and follows structured hour building to achieve a total of 200 hours. Other courses available are the Instrument rating, and Instructor courses.
