Our wonderful charity run, purpose built setting is situated on a hill surrounded by beautiful countryside in the picturesque village of Swanton Abbott.
We are open from 8:45am - 3:15pm Monday to Friday term-time. Swanton Abbott Pre-School is a long established, committee-run facility which originally operated from Swanton Abbott Village Hall but moved to new facilities adjacent to Swanton Abbott Primary School in April 2008.

Spaces are available now for a September start at our warm and caring Preschool. As a Hygge accredited setting, we create a calm, cosy and nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued and inspired to learn. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, we make the most of the natural world around us and follow the Wanderlust nature study, exploring the changing seasons through hands-on experiences, curiosity and wonder.

Yesterday we took delivery of our much awaited reading nook. What a lovely cosy spot to enjoy our favourite books with our friends. 📘

We are very excited to welcome our children back after the Easter break. The summer term will be full of fun and lots of outdoor learning opportunities as we follow the Wanderlust nature study. We look forward to exploring the natural world together, encouraging curiosity and making the most of the summer sunshine with activities that will inspire and engage every child.
