The annual Thorpe St Andrew scarecrow trail is taking place this week!

There are over 100 scarecrows this year which are hiding in gardens around the Thunder Lane area, including our amazing Lime Tree entry - The Hungry Caterpillar!!! 🐛

Our spring employee of the term is the amazing Emily! 💚

Emily returned from maternity leave at the end of February and you’d never know she’d ever been away. Emily is an incredible deputy manager and a huge asset to the team 💚

We’ve continued our ‘favourite authors’ theme by exploring the works of the incredible Julia Donaldson!

The children have had great fun making Gruffalo crumble, investigating the slimy super worm tray, creating beautiful stick man play dough imprints, exploring the smeds and the smoos colour mixing, having a go at shell rubbing and much, much more!

This half term we are exploring our favourite authors, and we’ve started off with the amazing work of Eric Carle! 🐛🦥🐞🦋🦍

It’s primary school offer day! 💚

April is the International Month of the Military Child and today is their ‘dandelion day’, so the whole team wore yellow to celebrate all the amazing little troopers out there! 💛

The dandelion is the official flower of the military child because just like many military children, dandelion seeds are blown far and wide by the wind – yet they are strong, adaptable and able to put down roots and blossom wherever they land 💛
