Year 2 had an incredible day at Sheringham Park! 🌿🐞 From bug hunting and pond dipping to creating beautiful land art and building dens, the children threw themselves into every activity with enthusiasm, curiosity, and teamwork.
They were an absolute pleasure to take and represented the school brilliantly. 💚
Stay tuned for more photos from a fantastic day of outdoor learning! 📸✨

Today Oak class worked with a partner to give and follow directions! We used maths words like forwards, backwards, left, right and turn to help guide each other to different locations. We had to listen carefully and think about our movements to reach the correct place. Great teamwork and fantastic use of positional language!

🌟 GOODSOLES CIC SUMMER PROJECT 🌟
This summer, something special is coming to West Earlham Infant & Nursery School!
Over four weeks, local businesses and community partners will be coming together to deliver a range of FREE activities focused on health, wellbeing, creativity and connection. From fitness and self-defence sessions to craft activities and shared meals, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
👨🍳🍽️ During each session, children will take part in cooking activities while adults enjoy the planned wellbeing or activity session. The groups will then swap the next day, giving adults and children the opportunity to experience different parts of the programme together. For anyone who is unable to participate in an activity session, an alternative option will be available.
🍽️ Every session will end with a shared meal, creating opportunities for families to come together, build relationships and celebrate their achievements as a community.
📅 Sign-up opens TODAY (Monday 15th June 2026) after school pick-up.
⚠️ Please note: To take part, at least ONE adult from each household must attend the session(s) they sign up for alongside their child.
This project has been built on the power of community, collaboration and creating opportunities for families to learn, grow and thrive together.
We can’t wait to welcome you!

☀️GOODSOLES CIC SUMMER PROJECT☀️
We saw the magic created at Christmas… now they’re back for some summer fun.
This is a fantastic opportunity to have some summer fun that is completely free. You’ll also be making some wonderful meals to share with the children at the end of the session, after completing a range of activities ranging from Thai boxing to plant pot painting.
A free breakfast drop in will be hosted at school on the 1st of July from 8:45am to 9:30am to answer any questions you may have or just to have a little catch up with Annie and Lewis.
