The school is highly ambitious for what pupils can achieve, both academically and in their personal development. Pupils experience a high-quality education, particularly in areas such as early reading and mathematics. As a result, they progress well with their learning. They love visiting the well-stocked libraries and are enthusiastic about books.

Behaviour at both playtime and in class is calm and focused.

As we reflect on the incredible success of this year’s Hethersett VC Fest, a day filled with joy, laughter, music, community spirit, and so much love. None of it would have been possible without the amazing people who came together to make it happen.

To our wonderful Hethersett Friends, tireless volunteers, dedicated staff (with a special shoutout to Mr Lee, whose energy and commitment are simply unmatched), the brilliant children and supportive families – thank you for bringing your enthusiasm, your time, and your hearts to the day.

A huge thank you to our food vendors and entertainers, who helped create such a vibrant atmosphere with delicious treats and fantastic performances – you brought the magic to life.

And to everyone who helped behind the scenes, lent a hand, offered encouragement, or simply showed up to be part of the day – your presence mattered more than you know.

But some thanks need to go deeper, and for Clare, Becca, and Fi, words don’t seem enough. Your tireless planning, your vision, and your unwavering dedication turned a dream into something real and beautiful. The countless hours, the attention to detail, and the love you poured into this event didn’t go unnoticed. You are the heart and soul of this fest, and we are endlessly grateful.

From all of us, thank you. You helped create something truly special that we will treasure for a long time to come.

Just 3 days until Santa Tours Hethersett this Sat 21st Dec starting at Finnbars Lights - come meet Santa there 4:30 before he tours the village by sleigh, details and map in comments, all welcome! 🎅

Amazing fun day out with our KS2 pupils - thanks to Friends of Hethersett VC Primary School for making this trip affordable for everyone 😊thoroughly enjoyed by all (even our very own performer).

We are pleased to share our route for Santa on tour Saturday 21st December!
We have changed the route to last year trying to see as many children across the village as possible however, our volunteers will be on foot most of the time, so apologies in advance if we do don’t go near your door.
However, we will be at Finnbar's Force lights 4:30pm - 5:30pm for photo opportunities with Santa and handing out sweets to children.
All money raised will go to Friends of Hethersett VC Primary School and Finnbar’s Force.
