Chika's Childminding

Chika's Childminding I am a OFSTED registered childminder based in Old Catton, Norwich. I am a qualified childminder with an NNEB Diploma in Nursery Nursing.

I have had twenty years of child care experience working in various children's settings, and started my childminding business in 2006. We recently had an OFSTED inspection in September, being graded as 'good'. We will continue to work hard to maintain the high standards. I have two assistants that work part time. Both have a DBS check and all the relevant qualifications needed to work with children. One assistant is doing a degree, with the aspiration to become a primary school teacher. My other assistant is a mum of two and will be starting her child care training this year. Myself and my assistants are always kept up to date with important training, including paedriatic first aid, child protection and food hygiene. I ensure to go on various courses to continue my professional development and gain new knowledge. I am married and have three children. Our home is relaxed, happy and a safe environment for your child. We have no pets and my house is strictly smoke free. I carry out a range of activities and have a range of toys and resources available to support children's learning, and to challenge them further in their development. I also provide a large and secure garden with a range of play equipment for the children to use. The happiness of your child is of primary importance to us. I try my best to create a nurturing environment for all children that enter my setting to develop the foundations of your child's holistic development.
