Holotropic Norfolk

I don't have any news on Holotropic Breathwork in Norwich yet.

I only know there is a weekend workshop in Poland, end of March, with a very experienced facilitator from US I believe. I won't be able to go. Still can help and provide all details.
Just bear with me as until 2nd week of March I'm in places with barely any or no signal/internet whatsoever. Therefore slow to respond.

In the meantime, Holly and Deb are organising workshops around London area. I have not been at London ones but have met Holly around the globe and worked with her. She has helped me to go through difficult emotions and I can only recommend to work with her.

I'll keep you posted when things around HB start moving in Norfolk.

What is Holotropic Breathwork?

‘Holotropic Bearthwork is one of the most powerful and effective techniques of experiential psychotherapy and deep self-exploration within the Transpersonal Psychology. Its purpose is to achieve greater self-understanding, expansion of self-identity and to facilitate access to the root of emotional and psychosomatic problems. The word ‘holotropic’ suggests to overcome internal fragmentation, as we as a person’s sense of separation from the environment.
It is based on the great healing and transformative power of expanded or non-ordinary states of consciousness (Holotropic states), which can occur spontaneously or through psychological practices, rituals mystical experiences or deep meditation.’*

Introduction:

As there are no workshops happening in Norfolk at a time, I decided I will share with you about a workshops that I’ll be going to.
There is a 3 day Holotropic Breathwork (HB) workshop coming up at the end of September in Warsaw, Poland. Workshops will start on Friday 27th and finish on Sunday 29th September.
Part of workshop will be lead in English, part in polish with English translation.
The leading group is made of polish facilitators, who have been working in Poland and around the world. There will also be two Spanish facilitators, who have been working with this method and in therapy for many years and are very experienced in the method.

Workshop:

Workshop will consist of 3 main parts:

Day 1: Opening circle and lecture about Transpersonal Psychology. This will be lead by a HB facilitator and therapist from Spain. You can find more information about her below : http://www.holotropica.org/index.php/en/equipo/75-sitara-blasco

Day 2: Core practice which is 2 sessions of HB. 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. You will experience breathwork once as a breather and once as a sitter. This is usually a whole day experience.

Prices:

Price for those who have not done HB before is 790PLN ( polish new zloty )
For those who have done HB before with a certified facilitator, price is 700PLN.
If you are during GTT training the price is 680PLN.
There will be spaces available to sleep in the breathwork room. This is often done by at least a few participants, as it is a lot of fun. This is also much cheaper option than getting a hotel room.

There is a small announcement coming up in a few days. It is not a workshop in Norfolk, but one in Poland. Price is very good and it is a journey! Fun I hope. :)

I'll put some more details in a couple of days.

This week I am in Schlaining, Austria. It's a double breathwork workshop. In addition, theme of this one is Schamanic. We will be working with master plants, dieting and supporting each other in the processes. So because of its theme this is not a usual Holotropic Breathwork workshop, but a hybrid. Apparently very intense.

As of organizing a workshop locally in Norwich. I still want to share this method with people around me, but I found I am really bad at building a community and will not be able to do it without help. My social skills are pretty damn low and I've just been scared to make vital steps. I will see what will come in months ahead. ☮️

There is no update on when I will organize the workshop yet. I have been busy with my new job and could not reach new people. Live is like a wave though, so you rise and fall. So I made myself unemployed again. Should have more time to speak to people about the project now. In the meantime, happy spring! :)

There are also some books about the subject, that I can recommend. They were a real eye openers for me and encouraged me to go in depth about transpersonal psychology and holotropic breathwork method. Let me know if you need anything else and I will try to source it.
