β˜€οΈπŸš‘Summer may be nearly over, but there’s been no slowing down at TrainEEAST.

Over the past few months, our trainers have been busy delivering courses across the East of England and beyond.

From Management of Falls, Basic Life Support, D13, FREC 3, and Moving & Handling courses, we've been supporting organisations, learners, and communities with high-quality, clinician-led training.

We've delivered training in a variety of settings, including a trip to Center Parcs Sherwood Forest, where we worked with their team to develop essential skills and knowledge.

Every season is a busy one at TrainEEAST, but it's been a particularly memorable summer. A huge thank you to our trainers, learners, and partner organisations for making it such a successful one.

πŸš‘πŸ“š Training today. Confidence tomorrow.

One of the best parts of what we do at TrainEEAST is seeing learners walk through the door unsure of themselves and leave with the confidence to put their new skills into practice.

Our courses are delivered by clinician-led trainers who bring real-world experience into every session, helping learners gain practical knowledge in a supportive learning environment.

International Paramedics Day πŸš‘
From the Frontline to the Classroom: My Journey with TrainEEAST
My name is Jess, and I graduated as a Paramedic from the University of Hertfordshire in 2015. As a student paramedic with the London Ambulance Service, I was fortunate to begin my career in one of the most diverse and exciting healthcare environments in the country.
After qualifying, I remained in London, gaining experiences I will never forget. From treating patients at the Tower of London and providing medical cover in Trafalgar Square, to supporting major events such as Pride, every shift brought new challenges and opportunities. It was an incredible place to learn and develop as a clinician.
After several years in the capital, the countryside began calling me home. Moving to Norfolk marked a new chapter and introduced me to a career path I had never really considered as a student paramedic β€” education.
Coming from a family of teachers, the move into training perhaps wasn't as unexpected as it first seemed. I joined TrainEEAST as a Training Officer and quickly discovered a passion for helping others develop their skills and confidence. During my early years with the team, I delivered training to a wide range of organisations, including police officers, firefighters, GP surgeries, dental practices, and psychiatric hospital teams.
As my experience grew, so did my interest in the development and design of training programmes. This led to progression into my current role as Lecturer Practitioner, where I became involved in curriculum development, resource design, and building bespoke pre-hospital emergency care programmes for our clients.
One of the most rewarding parts of my role is working with both existing and new clients to create training that meets their specific needs. Seeing a course evolve from an initial idea into a successful programme that benefits learners is incredibly satisfying.
I am also proud to have supported the expansion of TrainEEAST's portfolio, enabling us not only to deliver training but also to assess programmes, adding further value for our learners and clients.
While education now forms a large part of my career, I continue to maintain my clinical skills by working with event medical teams at festivals and equestrian events. Remaining active in frontline care helps ensure my teaching stays practical, relevant, and based on real-world experience.
For me, one of the greatest rewards of education is seeing learners grow in confidence and successfully complete their courses. Knowing that the skills and knowledge they gain may one day make a difference in an emergency situation is hugely motivating.
I hope to continue developing my expertise in education, expanding my skills, and supporting even more learners as they progress through their professional journeys.
At TrainEEAST, we're passionate about delivering high-quality, clinician-led training.
