A super fun night photographing The Ffolkes The Pigs and Byfords annual Thumbs Up awards night! Such a friendly bunch of people representing three fantastic Norfolk venues!

This was a really fun photography assignment. I learnt so much along the way! Thanks for having me!

It was great to work with , a Norfolk based window, doors and home improvement company. They needed a fresh set of images to showcase their friendly team and quality products. Their passion for what they do and the level of customer service they deliver really stood out. It was refreshing to see. It’s a shame I don’t need my windows replacing at as they would be the first company I’d get in touch with.

I’ve spent five years capturing little snapshots of Jenny and her gorgeous son. It’s 90 minutest of pure play, chaos and connection - followed by a well earned cuppa! These relationships, and the warm, personality filled photos that come from them, are why I like this job.

As the seasons change, so does my approach to portrait photography. With less sunlight, images can appear flatter and lack depth, and the wind and rain often makes outdoor shoots unpredictable. So instead, I’ll be focusing on more indoor portrait sessions — combining interesting interior backdrops with bold, block colours added in post-production.

I’ve been looking back over past client work to find images to refresh my website, and came across this small set from a shoot with Josie from .co.uk and Holly of .fit.pt , who have joined forces to create a brilliant programme focused on healthy eating and fitness for women in midlife.

We were lucky enough to use in Norfolk as our backdrop — it spoiled us with a variety of beautiful settings, both indoors and out.

As we head into autumn and winter, I’m always on the lookout for versatile and visually interesting indoor spaces in Norfolk or Suffolk for photoshoots. If you have a space available to hire or know of somewhere that might be suitable, I’d love to hear from you.

This is my third year photographing the Awards ceremony, alongside , celebrating the very best in marketing across our region. Photographing these events always feels like stepping into a room full of friends—so many familiar faces, whether from last year’s awards or from other projects we’ve worked on together. It’s such a joy to capture an event that shines a spotlight on people and their achievements.

Congratulations to for organising yet another excellent event and to everyone who was nominated and to all of this year’s award winners.

This year, I’m hoping to photograph even more awards ceremonies and conferences—so you’ll be seeing much more of me!
