PACT Animal Sanctuary gave us 4 hedgehogs to release into CAN woods. For the last week or so students have been planning for their arrival, including the creation of a Hedgehog Cafe where we can leave out food for them whilst they get settled in in their new home. The SEMH Nurture Class and the Forest School Club were all involved in meeting the hedgehogs and setting them free into the woods.

Yesterday, two Officers and one Corporal from RAF Marham visited CAN to teach a select group of Year 7 students all about the principles of flight – thrust, lift, drag and weight!
Students then put their knowledge into action by designing and building their own gliders, making adjustments and testing their designs to see whose could fly the furthest. A fantastic day of hands-on STEM learning, teamwork and problem-solving!
