Volunteers with facial palsy needed to help us with important research
The University of East Anglia's School of Psychology is looking for adults with facial palsy to participate in research on how facial paralysis might impact emotion processing. Participants will be invited to take part in 2x 30 minute experiments which can be done online from the comfort of your own home. The aim is to improve support for those with facial palsy in the future. If you can help us or know someone who can help us with this important research & would like to find out more, please get in touch
Volunteers need to be over 18 years of age, currently have facial paralysis and not have any other neurological issues (e.g. brain injury, stroke etc.)

Volunteers with upper-limb loss needed to help us with exciting research
Are you an adult with upper-limb loss living in the East Anglia region and interested in attending a 2-hour research session at the UEA, Norwich? Participants will be invited to take part in eye-tracking research looking at the potential differences in the brain & behaviour between one- & two-handed people, with the aim to inform the design of prosthetic limbs in the future. Volunteers needed to help us improve a new device to help brain injury survivors
Are you a stroke survivor and interested in attending a 1 hour research session at the UEA, Norwich? Participants will be invited to try out a new augmented reality headset designed to help brain injury survivors where they will be observed by the researcher. This will be followed by an interview and questionnaire, covering their views on the usability of the device, and any perceived barriers to use. Participants will be reimbursed £12.
