My main advice would be too..

Hey! Come and get to know me! 👋🏼

I’ve had some new followers recently (thankyou soooo much 🫶🏼) so I wanted to re-introduce myself with 10 random facts about me!

1. 📺 FRIENDS is just the best TV Programme ever made and I find myself smiling or laughing out loud to it even though I’ve watched every episode 5763 times!
2. 🥩 I was a veggie for almost 20 years but started eating meat 6 months ago when I was cooking chicken and it just looked and smelt soooo good. Now I realise I love meat and I can’t get enough of Gammon!
3. 🦷 I currently wear Invisalign Braces, my original treatment plan was 6 months. Here I am almost 4 years later still on a treatment plan 🫣 (my teeth moved ALOT so my plan has to change a number of times!)
4. 🏥 I have worked in retail, community care, a school, the Norfolk & Norwich Hospital (for 10 years!) and also tried to set up my own business in Beauty, thought I could post a few nail and brow pics and I’d have a business, how wrong was I! 🙈
5. 🌚 I’m afraid of heights and the dark! I used to turn off the lights before bed and absolutely let it into bed and hide under the covers (convinced someone would be there!) 😭
6. 🍹I love a good Gin!!! Parma Violet or Raspberry is my fave’s atm!
7. 🍝 Pasta in any kind is LIFE!!
8. 😱 I absolutely hate the Scream Mask - who the f*ck ever invented that!?
9. ☕️ I love a good coffee! Not loving the prices of them recently though!??
10. 👩🏻‍⚕️ I always wanted to be a Midwife! And for a while it really bothered me that I hadn’t achieved that.. but with Hypnobirthing I definately feel like I’m doing what I should be doing and no longer feel like I’m missing out! 🥰

🌸 PAIN RELIEF OPTIONS! 🌸

Hypnobirthing is for all births including ones that involve Pain Relief! Just because the name ‘Hypnobirthing’ sounds a bit hippy dippy all natural etc, it defiantly doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be including pain relief in your labour if you want that.

Although… Hypnobirthing does reduce the chances of needing pharmaceutical drugs, it’s really important that you’re aware of the options you have and how you feel about accepting them when you’re in labour.

Here are the 3 main Pain Relief options you have,

Entonox, (Gas and Air) - This is an inhaled gas used as a pain medication and together with other medications for anaesthesia.

Epidural - An epidural is an injection in your back to stop you feeling pain in part of your body.

Pethadine - This is an injection of a medicine called pethidine into your thigh or buttock to relieve pain. It can also help you to relax

Also, a BIRTH COMB! A comb can help you in Labour, would you believe it? A birth comb sits in the palm of your hand while you squeeze it to manage the intensity of your contractions. It’s believed that your brain can only cope with a few sensations at a time and if you distract your brain to another sensation, it directs the pain to a different area, amazing right!?
