Today, thousands of young people are opening their A-Level results and making decisions about what they do next.
University won’t be the right answer for all of them. Some will be ready to start work, earn a salary and build their career through an apprenticeship. For employers, that makes the coming months a very good time to recruit.
If you’ve been putting off hiring that extra person in your marketing team, customer service department, finance function or HR team it’s worth looking at apprenticeships.
Particularly when you look at the support available for employing a young apprentice.
For non-levy employers, apprenticeship training for someone aged 24 or under is fully funded by the Government, up to the funding band maximum. Additionally, hiring a young apprentice could make you eligible for additional incentive payments too.
For levy-paying employers, this is a great time of year to look at your levy pot and how you can use that to attract and develop young talent within your organisation.
At Swarm Training, we work with employers across England to train apprentices in various commercial roles, as well as a range of sector-specific apprenticeship standards.
We’ll help you understand what funding is available, find the right apprenticeship standard for the role and we can help you find the right person too with our free apprenticeship recruitment service.
There are a lot of talented young people deciding what their future looks like today.
One of them could be exactly who your business has been looking for.
