Anaphylaxis kits from Kitt Medical have started to be installed in our schools, like this one at Dell Primary. These kits come equipped with four auto injector pens and are suitable for all ages from nursery to adults.
From September 2026 all schools will be required to have these kits to comply with Benedict’s Law, a set of national protections designed to improve allergy safety in schools.
We want to be the forefront of ensuring our pupils and staff are protected as soon as possible, and our package also includes training and auto replenishment of the kits.

On Friday the children of Nelson Infant School had a visit from some of Wensum Junior's Year 6 children, to celebrate Day of Welcome by collaborating on some themed activities including exploring Refugee Week's theme of 'Courage', designing a trophy that celebrates bravery and inclusion and creating junk model houses as a representation of children's 'safe' place/sanctuary and what this means to them. The pupils of Nelson Infant were also invited to wear Yellow and/or Green non-uniform today, raising funds for our chosen charity - War Child.

Sports betting has become increasingly visible online, appearing across apps, websites, social media, sports coverage and gaming spaces.
Even when young people are not legally old enough to gamble, they may still encounter betting messages through adverts, influencers, tipsters, friends or adult accounts.
Our latest guide highlights key risks, including:
• Easy online access
• Gambling becoming normalised around sport
• Peer and influencer pressure
• Free bet offers
• Impulsive spending and chasing losses
It also offers practical advice for parents, carers and educators on starting calm conversations, setting safer digital boundaries, spotting warning signs and finding support.

Our Woodland Room children have started their new maths and problem-solving topic, ‘Heavy and Light’! The children have been exploring different ways to weigh and compare objects, making predictions about what might be heavier or lighter.
They’ve enjoyed investigating both indoors and out in the garden, using a range of practical, hands-on experiences 🌳 As you can see, they’ve had lots of fun while learning! 😊 Well done, Woodland Room!
