WWII Veteran Rajindar Singh Dhatt 100 yr old waits for the Queen's procession to pass in Hounslow, West London with a single rose in his hand to pay his humble respects to the Queen.
Rajinder Singh is one of the few surviving Sikh soldiers who saw action during the Second World war.
After the war Rajindar returned to India before moving to Britain in 1963 and settling in Hounslow with his family.

A big shout-out to this man! Huw Edwards put in a remarkable shift yesterday as he informed the people of Great Britain that Queen Elizabeth II had died. Dressed in a black suit and tie, the Welsh journalist announced on BBC News that the Queen has passed away at Balmoral. Huw had spent months preparing and practicing for the historic announcement - even rehearsing in front of his bathroom mirror to make sure he does Her Majesty justice. We think he did a superb job and delivered the sad news with his usual care, respect, and professionalism. Diolch Huw! 👏❤️
