It has been a fantastic day at the Club Hub Awards in Birmingham. A room packed with 250 children’s activity providers all achieving incredible things and having a massive impact on young children’s lives 🥰

At Cookies Kitchen, we’re passionate about helping children build healthier, happier relationships with food through fun, hands on cookery classes.

We’re looking for friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Cookery Class Leaders to join our growing after school club team. This is a flexible freelance, term-time role delivering engaging cookery sessions in primary schools.

Whether you have experience working with children, a love of cooking, or simply enjoy inspiring confidence and life skills in young people, we’d love to hear from you.

Full training, resources and ongoing support are provided. We are looking for people with sparkle, energy and a passion for making a real difference.

Most of our classes and events are based here in Norfolk for now but we are still part of some fab events back in Kent too.

Today our fabulous Kent team, Della and Jade are in action at Living Land 2026 at the Kent showground.

Over 2000 school children from across Kent get to attend this fantastic event every year and we love getting to be a part of it.

👩🏻‍🍳 from 2-4pm
👩🏻‍🍳 suitable for young chefs from 5 years

Do you love working with children? Love to cook and have a passion for teaching children how to make delicious, simple food from scratch?

We are looking to grow our after school club team working from 3-5pm at least 2 afternoons per week.

You would be covering schools around Attleborough and we would love for someone to be ready to start after the Easter holidays.

Full training will be given. You must be able to drive to our schools.

Cookies Kitchen has a new home, it was time to get the office out of our spare room and have a bit more space to work.

I’m keeping the seat warm at So Physical in Blackham Station, Reepham whilst the fabulous Sophie is on maternity leave. I only moved in this week and I love it already.

This might only be home until the summer, depending on when Sophie would like to come back to work so I’ll be making the most of it.

Do you visit the station here for a walk or a coffee? If so, do pop in and say hi!

We are looking for another team member to join us to run after school clubs in Gt Ellingham, Rocklands and Old Buckenham.

If you are as passionate as us about helping children build happier, healthier relationships with food then we would love to hear from you.

⭐ The role is for a minimum of 2 afternoons a week from 3-5pm, term time.
⭐ you will need experience of working with children and be confident in the kitchen but full training will be given to deliver our classes
⭐ enhanced DBS would be ideal but this an be arranged.

What a fab first week back, feeling very lucky to have only had one class cancelled due to the weather.

Today we finished the week with a healthy eating day at Arden Grove Primary School which was so much fun!

It is so good to be back doing what I love today!

We launched our Food Explorers programme at White Woman Lane Primary School this morning.

I’ll be back out this afternoon at Horsford Primary School and the whole team are in action with after school clubs today 👩🏻‍🍳🥰

Christmas workshop, our final cookery class of 2025.

This workshop has accidentally been the best kept secret. I have been so busy teaching this term that I forgot to tell everyone about it which is why we unusually have some spaces left.
