A productive day tidying and boxing away Nature Explorer's π± resources in the garage, to make room for bringing back all of the resources that I have stored at Barnham Broom Village Hall.
It will be sad π to leave Barnham Broom - it's been such a welcoming and supporting village during the time I've been running my playgroup there. π₯° Hopefully I will be back there one day and hopefully I'll be able to put these resources to use again in the near future. π

Today was our last Nature Explorer's π± Playgroup Session and we had fun in the Sun,π whilst it lasted! π
As they say 'All good things come to an end' and whilst I know that you've loved coming along to my sessions (and I have quite a few loyal local regulars ((thank you π₯°), it's become unsustainable for me to continue it, unfortunately. π₯
For just one session - I'm there all day setting up and clearing away (despite how many people attend the session) and I need an army of Voluteers to help me (which just aren't available). I set out from the start to create a group for the community and that is what I have done, investing any profit back into the group and having not taken an income from the group since it started. As overhead costs have risen and my family has grown π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦ it is now unaffordable for me to be able to continue running the group, as it is.
It was a hard decision to make, as I have invested much time and energy into this group, as I have loved doing it! π This is why it may come across as a sudden decision but it is not a decision that I have taken lightly. I didn't want any difficult goodbyes - so that's why I am only announcing it now.
I would like to thank my most wonderful volunteers (the amazing and wonderful (backbone of the Barnham Broom Community) - Eunice; Maddie and Hannah) and my family members, for allowing me to have a go at doing something which has brought me much joy over the past two years and created memories which will last a lifetime!
Finally, thank you for coming along to Nature Explorer π± sessions over the past two years and supporting my group - it has been so lovely getting to know you and your little ones! π₯° I hope that you have had fun coming along to the sessions and learnt something about the natural world, whilst playing and engaging with your child. I also hope that you can find a way to continue to foster a love for nature in your little ones through play; and that it will help to shape them to become more responsible environmentally conscious citizens in the future. πΏπ
Much love, Natalie π x
