π± Getting busy in the allotment! π
The children have been enjoying some wonderful gardening experiences in our allotment area. They carefully planted a courgette plant and transplanted the sunflower seedlings, making sure to give them plenty of water in the sunshine. π»π§
There was lots of excitement as the children picked some fresh broad beans and worked together to pod them, exploring where our food comes from and developing their teamwork skills along the way. π«
We canβt wait to watch everything continue to grow! πΏ

π₯π Our Yellow Stars children have been busy discovering potatoes in the mud kitchen today! ππ₯
The children explored the different shapes, textures, and sizes of the potatoes, activities like this help support sensory development, curiosity, and early communication skills through hands-on play. π
We loved seeing their excitement and creativity as they explored the natural world around them! πΏβ¨

π¦· A visit from the dentist! π
Today, at UEA Nursery we enjoyed a special visit from Chloe, a dentist from Healthy Smiles! π
Chloe showed the children how to brush their teeth effectively, with the help of her dragon puppet, Dexter π. Dexter was very cheeky and kept biting the toothbrush, which had everyone laughing!
It was fantastic to see how knowledgeable the children already are. They confidently shared that we should brush our teeth twice a day for two minutes each time πͺ₯
Chloe also talked about sugary foods, explaining that itβs best to enjoy them at mealtimes rather than snacking on them throughout the day. She reminded us all how important it is to visit the dentist twice a year.
A fun and informative visit β thank you, Chloe! π
