Thank you to everyone who loved and supported me this school year 💖 It honestly means the world to me.

Over 12,000 children took part in an Experience. 😍 Can't quite believe it.

Could not have done it without everyone's support & compassion, Patsy the dog included 🐕 ❤️ There's been bumps along the way but hopefully lot's of happy memories have been made. 🙏

That's all I've ever wanted really.

I am coming off social media for the summer to rest & recharge; I am really tired😴 🔋

I hope everyone who works with schools has the most wonderful, relaxing summer. You all deserve it 💓 ❤️ Take care.

Just bumped into the Teaching Assistant from today's school at rsstaurant near hotel:

"It's very rare to get a smile out of one of the lads today - he has had a tough time of it but he was beaming from ear to ear... It brought a tear to my eye." ❤️

Makes it all worthwhile...

And even more so when she pointed me in the direction of a local Roman temple ruin 😲 🫨 ❤️ love coming to sites like this... Such atmosphere! ✨️

So experience and history has taught me that wearing full Roman Soldier kit during heatwave never ends well for the Romans...

Pray 🙏 for this wee Roman man in this heat 🥵 🔥 over the next few weeks 😆

Wonderful day @ North Denes Primary School in Great Yarmouth. Vikings with 2 classes from Year 5.

Saw so many faces I haven't seen since my days at Time & Tide Museum (!) which was also lovely. ❤️

Reckon that leaves us about 4 schools short of completing our GY Bingo 🖊 😆

Another great morning with the fellas @ Walk And Talk EA in Gorleston.

Gets me all set for the week ahead 💪 starting tomorrow with our first ever visit to North Denes Primary in Great Yarmouth 🙏

Made the wise decision to go on a 8 mile hike along the River Yare, passed the famous Berney Arms - a remote railway station & now disused pub which can only be reached by foot & boat.

Patsy & I 🐕 got soaked 🌧 but we did get to appreciate the beautiful Burgh Castle Roman Fort from the opposite side of the river - the magnificent walls were visible from quite some distance, helping me appreciate exactly why the Romans plonked themselves there nearly two millenia ago. 💯

For those of you who've experiences my Roman workshop: this is the home of Centurio Titus Flavius :-)

It was so good to use many of the resources made by the fellas from Walk And Talk EA at today's Viking workshop @ Westwood Primary in Lowestoft. 💪

Not to mention the garments made by the incredibly talented Ruth & Yolanda Bravery 🪡

I am incredibly lucky to have the kindness & support of such talented folk ❤️
