We hope you all had a wonderful summer break! We are rested and ready to welcome you all tomorrow. We can't wait to see our new Reception children (either for the morning or afternoon session) and we're looking forward to welcoming our new Year 1s, Year 2s. Butterfly Class has had some work done over the summer to create a focused learning space, and a sensory space within the room which we're very excited about and can't wait to see the children enjoying. We're ready for you!

The children loved our sessions at Avian Dance in the summer term and I bet they’d love a Jolly Gymnastics session in the same venue too.

Festival vibes for our amazing Year 2s on their last day at Lodge Lane today. What a wonderful group of children they have been. In assembly today, we watched part of their photo stories from their Reception year and couldn't believe how much they have grown - in all senses of the word. Congratulations, Year 2! We know you're going to continue to set the world on fire at Junior School.

Happy Summer everyone! Thank you so much for your kind words, cards and gifts over the last few days. We're very lucky to have such supportive families. Enjoy the break and we'll see the new Year 1s and 2s on Thursday 3rd September!

Isla and Lora in Leopard Class have made this fantastic stop motion animation ahead of the Year 2 Leavers Performance of Pirates vs Mermaids. Watch and listen for a taster and for a sneak preview of some of the songs. Come and see their performance tomorrow or Wednesday at 1:30pm in the Hall. Be ready to be impressed - and bring tissues!

Another great week at Lodge Lane! Reception children have continued working on their rugby skills ready for their rugby festival. Year 1 have had the best time watching the ducklings hatch and seeing them take their first steps (and first swims) in the world. Year 2 showed off their rugby skills at North Walsham Rugby Club. Butterfly Class enjoyed a fine motor challenge - could they pop the bubble by spraying it with water?!
