I offer tuition for Acoustic, Electric and Bass Guitar in the South Norfolk area. I teach all ages, and cover all styles and abilities. If you want to learn, I want to teach you! I try to focus my lessons on your preferred style of music, picking up new techniques and theory as we learn your favourite songs. I specialise in Rock, Blues, Metal, and lead playing, but am open to all styles. I am experienced in grade exams, having put several students through the Rockschool grades, and have also helped students with other focused goals such as talent shows and auditions for music college. I am fully DBS(CRB) checked and currently have over 15 years experience playing and gigging, and 7 years teaching experience. I currently teach at Schools in Norfolk and Suffolk, and private lessons are available in Diss at The Hub - Diss Music School. Here I have a dedicated teaching room with wi-fi and a waiting room for parents to wait while their son or daughter has their lesson. Lessons at The Hub are £80 for 6 half hour lessons. I started playing guitar at the age of 14, after having played violin, piano and drums from a young age. I started my first band soon after and began playing gigs at school and various local venues. I did a 3 year course at Access to Music in Norwich, which I passed with Distinction, before completing a further year at the British Academy of New Music in London, which gained me an ATCL (Distinction) in Music Practice. I have played in lots of different bands, covering a wide range of styles such as Rock, Metal, Funk, Soul and Blues. Through this, I have played at venues all over the country, and had the opportunity to play some of the biggest venues in Norwich such as The Waterfront and The UEA LCR. I currently play lead guitar in Norwich based 80's rock covers band Pout At The Devil.
