Welcome Back 🌿🌳

We're delighted to welcome everyone back!
Our Autumn term has started off wonderfully. Over the first two days, the children have thoroughly enjoyed exploring our newly revamped outdoor garden, spending quality time reconnecting with their friends.

We're also excited to welcome our new children and their families. Our focus has been on children’s choices and interests.

Next week we are introducing our topical learning this half term exploring "All About Me,” where we discover what makes us unique where we live and keeping healthy.

Treetops Easton Training Day... 🍃🌳

Today was a full days Training day for our fabulous staff team! There was lots of activities, tasks, shared thinking, with our main focus of this training day all around Safeguarding, a paramount part of keeping our children and staff safe whilst working & attending Treetops Nursery.

The staff team also completed 6 workshops with our management team learning skills around communication, partnership working & inclusive practice!

We are also pleased to annonce that Kellie has been awarded Employee of the term for the Summer 2026 term, huge congratulations to you!

We can't wait to welcome you back from tomorrow for your normal Treetops sessions.

Holiday Club - Weeks 3 & 4 🌿🌳

This term, we’ve been dedicated to enhancing our outdoor environment at the nursery.
Over the Summer We've added some fantastic features to our garden gazebo, including an outdoor kitchen and a communication-friendly table. These new additions allow children to work together while exploring a variety of materials and media, enriching their learning experiences.

We invite you to check out the exciting adventures from the last two weeks of our summer holiday club, where the children enjoyed exploring transport and engaging in science experiments.
We can’t wait to welcome back our returning children and families when we reopen on Thursday, 3rd September!

Treetops Holiday Club - Weeks 1 & 2 🌿🌳

We are delighted to share some highlights from this year's Easton Sumner Holiday Club, held at Easton for the first time!
It has been a wonderful success as we explored various topics over the first two weeks. We kicked off with the animal kingdom, looking at both the smallest and largest animals and their habitats worldwide. The children really showcased their creativity through fun cooking and craft activities.

Our next theme had a sporty vibe, with engaging activities like tennis, football, hoops, balance, and biking. We also enhanced our mathematical skills during our bowling session, where we focused on counting and recognising numbers in our environment

As we enter the final two weeks, the children will dive into the world of transport and conduct exciting science experiments. We can't wait to share our adventures with you in a few weeks, so be sure to keep an eye on our page!

🍃🌳 Treetops Graduation 2026 🌳🍃

Wow what a fabulous afternoon we had today for our Preschoolers of 2026 Graduation! 🧑‍🎓 👩‍🎓

A huge Thank You to all of our families that joined us this afternoon to partake with this years Huge group of school leavers! We saw a fantastic 22 children Graduating from Treetops this year!

I'm sure you'll all agree it was the most fabulous afternoon celebrating our Graduates 🎓

A big shout out to our team for everything they have done getting our children ready for their next journey into reception! See you on the school run in September...!

Also a huge shout out to Denise for organising, planning and orchestrating such a beautiful event!

School Transitions 🏫

At Treetops Easton, we are dedicated to supporting children as they embark on the exciting journey of starting school.
The key person is instrumental in ensuring that these transitions are as smooth as possible during their early years.

Throughout the summer term, we have arranged several visits from reception teachers, as well as fun school playdates and communal lunches in the school hall. We've spent time exploring the school grounds, which helps the children grow familiar with their new environment, an important step in this transition.

They have also enjoyed trying on school uniforms, meeting the school secretary to chat about lunches, and visiting the library to pick out books that they can take home to boost their reading skills.

Our school readiness activities promote development in all areas, emphasising collaboration and enhancing fine motor skills and independence enabling them to flourish as they continue on these educational journey.

Space Week 🧑🏻‍🚀🚀☄️

The nursery team is thrilled to begin our fantastic new space theme!
We’ve turned our setting into an enchanting universe where we can discover planets, rockets, and astronauts together. The children are having so much fun with our exciting activities, such as building a mini NASA Space Station, making satellites, exploring a malleable moon tray, embarking on a sand planet hunt, enjoying water play with space soup, engaging in rocket shape maths, and painting rocket feet. 🚀👨🏻‍🚀🌓🪐

Our Topic related learning enables the children to broaden their understanding of the world around engaging in new experiences and enhancing their knowledge.

Summer Sports Stay and Play 🌳💚

On Thursday last week we had such a wonderful afternoon with the children and their families, embracing everything sporty together.

The sun shined brightly as we had the chance to delve into all the fantastic activities provided by Louis.
Families participated in:

Football ⚽️, Golf ⛳️, Archery 🏹, and fun races like sack and egg and spoon. The little ones also enjoyed making sailboats and designing their own flags.

We shared some yummy snacks at our lovely picnic benches under the gazebo.

Welcome Back 🍃🪴

We are excited to welcome back all the children and families to round off the summer term.

At Treetops Easton we are kicking off with a brand new topic exploring imagination through our exciting new theme exploring 'Past Present and Fantasy.

The team have created some amazing activities to spark curiosity and explore the wonderful world of once upon a time.
The setting is bursting with knights and dragons, mermaids, dinosaurs, fairies & witches to name a few.
