☀️ Resistance band exercises on the beach ☀️

Today I’m on a gorgeous beach in Cyprus so thought I’d do my resistance band workout by the sea. 🏖

Today I’m demonstrating the following exercises:

Squat with lat pull down
Shoulder press
Sumo squat with upright row
Toe tap with front raise
Reverse fly

Aim to do each exercise up to 15 times or until your muscles start to ache and repeat each round 3 times. This will take about 15-20 minutes and you would have worked your entire body. Enjoy 😀

Fitness and Yoga Retreat 2022 in Cyprus. Are you up for it??

I am Currently in Cyprus looking for a villa to host an exciting yet peaceful and relaxing retreat next year.

I have found an absolute hidden gem of a villa, nestled in a little hillside Cypriot village, with stunning 360 degree panoramic views. Statos Agios village is so peaceful and the locals still enjoy the traditional Cypriot way of life.

The owners grow their own organic fruit and vegetables on the grounds where guests are welcome to pick and eat everything in season.

Cyprus enjoys beautiful all year round sunshine and is the perfect place for a retreat haven.

Let’s get moving with resistance bands and get stronger. You can use these bands anywhere, any time and they are really cheap to buy.

Here’s my first video demonstrating 5 basic exercises

* Squat
* Bicep Curl
* Lat Pull Down
* Tricep Extension
* Lateral Side Raises

Aim to do each exercise 10 to 15 times.

Build up to do 3 circuits of all the exercises 2 to 3 times a week.

It will only take you 20 minutes. 😄

Anna from BodyBlast20 a motivating Personal Training Coach based in Norwich, reveals why it is so important to do regular STRENGTH training during menopause.

Are you peri-menopausal? Me too!

It’s a no-brainer, if you are peri-menopausal or going through menopause you must start strength
training TODAY!

** Why? During menopause oestrogen levels fall as our body no longer prepares each month for
reproduction. If your oestrogen levels are low, it can result in weight gain.

** What to do? At home, opt for dumbbells and resistance bands. Select a level that is heavy enough to exhaust your muscles in 10 -12 repetitions and progress from there.

Follow me too, because I am going to post videos each week demonstrating some strength exercises
with dumbbells, resistance bands and body weight, which you can do easily at home.

Aim to do the exercise workout at least 2 to 3 times a week. It will only take 20 minutes. Start today and
feel healthier, stronger, and happier. 🏋️‍♀️
