We are urgently seeking support to help raise funds to ensure that a University of East Anglia (UEA) Afghan PhD student and his young family can leave Afghanistan and return back to the UK.
The family found out only last month that they will have to make their own way to the UK. Hassan and his wife have both been receiving direct threats from the Afghan state.
UEA students are hosting a fundraiser quiz to raise money towards their safe evacuation to the UK.

A big thank you and a warm welcome to devsoc to everyone who attended last night's social!
It was a great turn out, so much so that most of the pizza was gone before we even got a photo of it 😂
Our next social will be a bar crawl on the 21st of October, so save the date, and keep an eye on social media as further details will follow at the end of the week regarding the route, and the theme.
