Summer Reading Challenge 2021 - Norfolk County Council Join in with Wild World Heroes, Summer Reading Challenge 2021 - a celebration of nature and action for the environment

As part of last term's Personal Learning Activities, these children took part in term of a Poetry Writing. They were so good that they are all now being published. Well done to everyone. Watch out for them in a bookshop near you in the future!

Thanks to everyone who took part in our first Bake Sale on Friday either by baking some delicious cakes, or by buying one! Thanks also to our amazing Friends of the Free School Norwich for organising such a successful event. We raised an amazing £192.50!

Yesterday children from our School Council were interviewed about the Coronation by Greatest Hits Radio. They can be heard throughout the day on the Greatest Hits news bulletins.

We've got some brilliant hats today for Brain Tumour Awareness today!

A big thank you to Richardson's of Norwich for their donation of runner bean seeds which children in EYFS have been enthusiastically planting! Here's hoping for a good crop!!

Year 2 had a brilliant talk about engineering from Christos from Canham Engineering yesterday. We are sure there will be a few more budding engineers in the future! Thanks also for the books for our new library to keep that enthusiasm going.

Well done to this term's Eagle Readers who Darren was lucky enough to es**rt to Waterstones this morning to choose their book. These children are our star readers this term! Well done everyone and good book choices!

Today we will be marking safer Internet day continuing our work to ensure that our children know how to stay safe online.

Parents and carers - UK Safer Internet Centre Safer Internet Day is a great opportunity to focus on online safety with your child, whatever their age. We have created a range of pages to help you start a conversation with your child, whatever that may be about and no matter how much time you have.

Friends of FSN
In 2023, we'll be relaunching 'Friends of The Free School Norwich' to support fundraising and volunteers in our school community. We welcome members from our Ambassadors, current volunteers and anyone new who is interested in discussing and establishing our plans for 2023 and beyond.
Our first meeting will be held on 31st January at 10am and supported by our SENDCO and family support worker, Faye. Jackie will also join us to support from a finance perspective.
