⭐️🐰 EASTER WORKSHOP - DAY 2🐰⭐️
🌸 Day 2 had a much more confident vibe as most of the children had already met, but we also welcomed a few new faces so ice-breaker games ensured everyone felt included and comfortable. We played ‘The Sun Shines On’, a fun circle game where one person stands in the middle and says “The sun shines on anyone who…” followed by a statement (e.g. plays an instrument). Those who the statement applies to must quickly swap seats, while the person in the middle also runs to find a seat! This leaves a new person in the middle to continue the game. It was a great way to get everyone moving, laughing, and bonding at the start of the day!
🌼 In our drama session, the children worked in small groups on an Easter Bunny dilemma, coming up with their own imaginative scenarios and ideas, such as the Easter Bunny sleeping in and not waking up in time to deliver the eggs! They explored their ideas through discussion, teamwork and short improvised scenes, focusing on creativity, storytelling and working together. Each group then performed to the audience!
🌸 In our singing session, we introduced ‘Walking on Sunshine’ by Katrina & the Waves which brought lots of energy and smiles to the group! We started with vocal warm-ups, focusing on breathing, pitch and projection, before learning and singing the song as a group. There was lots of enthusiasm as the children worked on singing together, listening to each other, and adding expression to bring the song to life!
🌼 For dance, everyone warmed up to ‘Chocolate Choco Choco’ by Soul Control before learning some choreography to ‘Move Your Feet/ D.A.N.C.E’ from Trolls! The children particularly loved being taught how to create windmill/sunshine arms by standing in a vertical line, one behind the other, then taking it in turns to alternate their arms to one side until the wave reached the back of the line!
HUGE THANKS to all who joined us for either 1 or 2 days of our Easter Workshop!

⭐️🐰 EASTER WORKSHOP - DAY 1 🐰⭐️
🌸 Ice-breaker activities kicked off the workshop which helped to shake off any initial nerves, introduce everyone to each other and warm up bodies and voices. Name games with the parachute were a particular favourite!
🌼 The children were then guided through some energetic choreography to the ‘Easter Party Song - Hop Hop Hop!’ which went down a storm! There was lots of laughter with some of the bunny-inspired dance moves!
🌸 The singing session began by warming up with ‘Tony Chestnut’ using actions for toe, knee, chest, nut, nose, eye, love and him - gradually removing the words until everyone was just doing the actions! With the sunshine outside, the whole group then sang ‘Here Comes the Sun’ by the Beatles which brought great energy and enthusiasm to the room. Ask your children to show you ‘Tony Chestnut’ at home!
🌼 For a bit of downtime in between sessions, crafts were available and everyone had fun creating their own ‘out of this world’ creature!
🌸 In the acting session, the children worked in groups on a fun ‘receiving a letter’ activity. They decided whether the letter was expected or a surprise, who it was from, and whether it brought good or bad Easter news. It was great to see how creative they all were, with lots of different ideas and reactions - some dramatic, some funny, and some full of suspense! The children have requested to continue this activity tomorrow.
BIG THANKS to all who joined us today and especially to teachers, Hayley, Julia & Matilda!

🌟 STUDENTS OF THE TERM & MAIN SCHOOL MILESTONES! 🌟
We have had a fantastic Spring term with all our students and wanted to give a special shout out to SIX of our dedicated MAIN SCHOOL performers!
💫 Lukas – Group 1
Lukas has grown so much as a performer since the Royal Albert Hall show. He has stepped into a leadership role within Group 1 and always listens, responds, and participates without reminders. We love how he beams with confidence now! Well done, Lukas!
💫 Edith – Group 2
Edith has always shown fantastic commitment and creativity, but recently she has really stood out as a positive influence within the group too. Edith also celebrated her one-year milestone with us in the same week, which reflects her dedication. Keep shining, Edith!
💫 Phoebe – Group 3
Phoebe is dedicated, focused, and always welcoming to new students, helping them feel part of the group from day one - a quality we especially wanted to recognise. She’s approaching her three-year milestone with us, and her commitment and positivity make her a real role model in Group 3. Keep up the great work, Phoebe!
💫 Ivan, Hugo, Raisa and Edith all achieved MILESTONE awards as they have been part of the TT family for 1 year or more!

💜💥 K-Pop Demon Hunters MINIS Workshop!💥💜
We LOVED welcoming some new faces to our two K-Pop Workshops with our marvellous MINIS this month!
💜 The energy levels were high from the get-go and we immediately channeled this into our warm-up activities which helped to shake off any initial nerves and introduce the children to one another! We had placed pictures of the characters from the film on each wall of the room and played games spotting and acting like each one!
💥 For the dance session, we introduced some simple choreography and included three strong dance moves to ‘Golden’, as well as some shoulder pops to ‘Soda Pop’! There were some amazing ‘Saja Boys’ dancers and we were very impressed by how quickly everyone picked it up.
💜 ‘Golden’ was also chosen for the singing session and we were treated to some brilliantly loud singing voices and excellent facial expressions when the students were pretending to be one of the K-Pop performers!
💥 For the drama session, we worked with the keyword ‘mysterious’ and acted out searching for demons to hunt. It was fun to watch everyone tell the story with their facial expressions and poses!
THANK YOU to all who joined us! We are confident that new friendships were formed, simply because we all had something in common: how much we all love K-Pop Demon Hunters!

⭐️ MINIS CLASS ⭐️
Our marvellous MINIS meet from 11:15-12:45 at Hellesdon High School every Saturday and this class is a great introduction to the performing arts!
Children take part in carefully-planned, 90-minute sessions that nurture an excitement for performance through dancing, singing and acting, and we go above and beyond to ensure that all children feel comfortable whilst creating a vibrant atmosphere to allow their imaginations to run wild!
🌹 Nature has been a key theme this term and the students have learnt some simple choreography to ‘Good Things Grow’ from Disney’s latest live action Snow White film. In this beautiful flower dance, they all take turns to water one another and grow!
🎤 The song the children have been learning during the singing session is ‘The Creek Song’ from Bluey and they love to become different pond creatures throughout this!
🌈 Props have also been introduced to our talented MINIS who have enjoyed dancing with long, flowing ribbons and have become inspired by how gravity affects our colourful feathers!
If your 4-5 year old would like to book a MINIS class taster session with us, then just follow the link below!👇🏻

🌟 STAGE COMBAT WORKSHOP! 🌟
💥 Our MAIN SCHOOL students enjoyed a brilliant workshop on Saturday with a special visit from Mark Ruddick from Squire Stage Combat!
👊 The children had a blast learning how stage and screen combat works, and most importantly, how to create safe, but believable, fight scenes - from sneaky slaps to fake punches!
💥 They loved discovering how actors on stage and screen use quick movements and sharp sounds to trick the audience and make it all look real (without anyone getting hurt, of course!).
👊 The highlight of the workshop was definitely learning how to work with the wooden swords, and the students had lots to ask at the Q&A section at the end!
A HUGE THANK YOU to Mark for such a fun and insightful session!
