✈️📑 ELP TESTING COMES TO NORWICH 📑✈️

We're excited to announce that we've partnered with Lenguax to become an approved English Language Proficiency (ELP) testing centre!

Pilots and students can now complete the Test of English for Aeronautical Communication (TEAC) here in Norwich, for those requiring an ELP assessment or re-assessment.

Lenguax's internationally recognised assessments are both UK CAA and EASA approved, meaning testing is available for pilots wishing to operate under either authority.

✈️ FIRST SOLO ✈️

A big congratulations to Kris Stewart who recently completed his first solo flight in G-CMEP!

Taking to the skies alone for the very first time is a day that every pilot remembers, and one that marks a significant step in Kris' flight training journey.

Well done from all of us here at Norwich Aviation Centre on a fantastic, well deserved achievement! 👏

Huge congratulations to Steven Frazer on passing his IMC Skills Test! ✈️👏

Steven completed his test here at Norwich today in G-CLWB, one of our fantastic Warrior IIIs, demonstrating the skills and confidence required to operate safely in instrument meteorological conditions.

A fantastic achievement and another major step forward in his flying journey. Well flown, Steven - we can't wait to see what's next for you! ✈️

🎉 Huge congratulations to our very own Flight Centre Manager, Fran, who successfully passed her Commercial Pilot Licence yesterday with at Sleap Airfield, in their PA28R Piper Arrow ✈️👏

WELCOME TO NAC 🎉💪

Stu Smith joins NAC as an instructor and with him he brings nearly four decades of aviation experience to our team. His aviation journey began at just 16 years old when he completed his first solo flight in a glider with the Air Cadets, sparking a lifelong passion for flying. From there, Stu self-funded his own commercial flight training, building his career through determination and hard work.

He has flown for respected operators including Eastern Airways, easyJet, Virgin Atlantic, and Titan Airways. A true Airbus enthusiast, Stu has spent over 20 years flying Airbus aircraft including the A319, A320, A321, A330, and A340, and is currently a serving Captain on the Airbus fleet and varients.

Stu brings this extensive real-world airline command experience directly to our students, particularly those progressing through commercial training courses at Norwich Aviation Centre. He is passionate about helping anyone with an interest in aviation, regardless of school qualifications or background, achieve their dream of becoming a pilot.

A massive congratulations to Daniel-Callum, who completed his Qualifying Cross Country on Tuesday - sneaking it in just before this showery weather we're now having arrived! 🌦

Daniel-Callum has absolutely flown through his PPL course (quite literally!), and it's been brilliant watching his skills and confidence grow along the way.

Two fantastic experience flights over the past two days! ✈️☀️

A huge thank you to Jeremy & Chris, who enjoyed a custom route taking in Bungay, Southwold and Lowestoft, and to Philip & Donna, who explored the stunning Norfolk coastline from Cromer to Happisburgh before flying over the beautiful Broads on approach to Runway 27 here at Norwich.

A special mention to Philip, who celebrated his 75th Birthday with us - what an incredible way to mark the occasion! 🎉

Both flights were under the safe control of our fantastic experience flight pilot, showing our lovely passengers some of Norfolk and Suffolk's very best views from above.

It's also a great opportunity to meet fellow students and pilots and enjoy a relaxed social evening at the school.
