Eaton Elephants Preschool 🐘 Term Term only 9am-3pm

17/06/2026

Today the children had the chance to create colourful monsters by dropping paint onto black card and blowing it with straws to make interesting shapes. They then added googly eyes to bring their monsters to life, encouraging creativity, imagination, and fine motor development.

First week back and i think the children have loved the garden.
They definitely seem to be outside more, and making use of the new green space, and the new blocks!

We have some more newness coming soon ✨️🐑 we can't wait to show you.

The new building blocks were a massive hit!!

The children used their imaginations and made towers, houses for the dinosaurs, bug hotels, some children made a boat, the possibilities are endless and it's fantastic to see the children exploring and using their imaginations.

The garden has had a little re-vamp over the easter holidays.
We hope the children enjoy the new grass area, and new resources to explore.

We are back open tomorrow at 9am.
We can't wait to see you all. ✨️

✨️ NEW ✨️

We’ve recently installed new wooden fencing in the garden to help create clearly defined play areas for the children.

This allows us to safely section off different parts of the outdoor space so that activities can be better supervised. The fencing is free-standing and securely positioned, meaning it can be adjusted when needed to support different activities or layouts. Children will still have access to all areas of the garden, just in a more structured and manageable way.

✨️ NEW ✨️

We have a selection of different wooden shapes (and sizes) allowing children to stack and arrange them in many ways. They can be used for open-ended play, where the children can use their imagination to build structures and create their own games.

We can't wait to see what the children use these for.

Thank you to Miss Stacey's partner for making them for us (he always comes in handy when we would like wooden bits made)
