Hello all, our Senior Signers group is now continuing at the new location of Roxley Hall from this week. This is group is amazing for those wanting to learn BSL with less pressure than a classroom environment.
In a few days we will have a post about a new Seniors group for new beginners so bear with us while we make this, thanks.

Good afternoon!! This is just a reminder that we're in the first week of June and that only means one thing: Signing Café is on Saturday!! We'd love to see as many of you as possible, we always love it when we do.
Also, on Saturday the 27th, during the Deaf Festival, there will be an extra Café session for some friendly BSL chatter and a break from looking around the stalls and workshops.

Are you interested in furthering your BSL skills, putting yourself above most? SignWise has the course for you. We are starting a new Level 2 course in September and would love for you to join. This is for those with their full Level 1 qualification looking to learn even more about BSL and the Deaf community.
Our tutor, Jo Sandy, over a decade teaching BSL and almost 10 years owning SignWise Tuition, and so if there's anyone you want to be teaching you, it's her.

If you're interested please message us on here or email us at [email protected]

Following on from yesterday morning's post on the Deaf Festival, we are super proud to announce we have been given the opportunity to hold a workshop at 2pm on Saturday the 27th called 'A Beginner's Guide to BSL' in The View room. We will be introducing you to the wonderful world of the language that is British Sign Language, with a whistlestop tour of the basics in just under an hour.
We'd love to see as many people as possible so get us in the diary.

(And for anyone who also didn't know what 'vagaries' means, it is pretty much a random, unexpected change in behaviour - and if you want to know what it means in this context I guess you'll have to come along and find out!!)

Are you or someone you know looking to learn a new skill? Has BSL been something you've been interested in learning? Well lucky for you we have two upcoming Level 1 courses beginning in September. These courses are perfect for anyone with little to no prior experience with BSL.
Both courses are run by our highly renowned tutor Jo Sandy who has over a decade of BSL teaching experience, and almost 10 years of owning SignWise.

Good morning all, today is the 8th birthday of SignWise and it's great to look back on everything we've achieved, if I wanted to add photos of all of that we'd be here for so so long.
From the first Deaf Festival, surviving the pandemic, meeting city councillors, being published in the newspaper numerous times and raising hundreds for charity, SignWise Tuition has done so much and we couldn't have done it without Jo and Julie, but more importantly we couldn't have done it without all of you, so thank you so much, we can't wait to do bigger and better things for you!!!

Good evening, I know it's been a while but here is the What's On post for June. It is the start of our event packed summer with the No Limits Day and the Deaf Festival, and the cherry on top is a double Signing Café month.
We are also so happy to see that Sign & Study is back on the calendar, we've cut it down to every other week but we'd still love to see you there!!
Have a great month everyone!!
