Week 2 of our holiday club and August was welcomed in with....
A day trip to Formby Beach building sand castles, flying kites, digging holes, searching for shells and dipping our toes in the sea and jumping waves. Next came our Retro games day with Mario egg assault course, sonic ring toss, PAC man in the garden, selection of game themed crafts a midweek trip to leekbrook to visit the chickens and sheep, seeing the churnet valley steam train up close, a woodland walk and finally an escape room day with challenges, clues, puzzles and much more to help find Jerry's (the ball) babies 🤣 not forgetting lots of garden play, role play and den building!

So we finished up holiday club last week which ran for 5 of the 6 weeks of the holidays and what a busy time we've had ...

So we finished up holiday club last week which ran for 5 of the 6 weeks of the holidays and what a busy time we've had so much fun, lots of memories made and so much time spent with friends and having new adventures 😍

Here's the round up of week 1 back in July.....
Trip to Lyme park National Trust, Tie dye day, mud kitchen and making bird feeders, science experiments day plus a whole host of dens, time in the pool, lots of garden play and tons of the wonderful role play they create together 😍

A slightly belated post to say thank you to all my wonderful mindees who have left at the end of the summer term, as well as a big thank you for the wonderful gifts, cards and beautiful words, leaving for various reasons included starting 'big' school and moving onto high school 😲
To all of the wonderful big and small ones and their amazing families we will all miss you and you're always welcome to come visit and you know where I am should you need me 😍

They all decided to play Marco Polo in the rain at Hare Hill National Trust today after we had our lunch in the walled gardens 😍 they all had the best time and were sad when it stopped raining

Tomorrow is our Escape room themed day so I will be using some of this to create the magic of our 'escape room' this eve...

Tomorrow is our Escape room themed day so I will be using some of this to create the magic of our 'escape room' this evening ready for all the holiday club mindees to puzzle through, challenge one another, scratch their heads, unlock, put together and take apart whilst they work together and solve them all!

I've a few spaces available for Sept starts an Early years space available Mons, Weds and Thurs (term time)
Government funded hours are free and no additional costs involved for food or activities are charged.
Any additional or None funded hours are £6p/h with no additional costs involved for food or activities.

Wrap around school care collecting from Moulton Primary School available Monday - Thursday.
Before school breakfast club £6 (includes breakfast)
After school Club £12 (includes evening meal)

All meals and activities are included in the fees
Opening hours are 7.30am until 6pm Term Time.

Just finalising our summer holiday club plans we've got all sorts planned over the summer with a number of day trips planned to den build in the woods, visit a small holding, the cinema, a few parks, the beach and some lovely national trust houses and gardens. Then locally we plan to go to the mud kitchen and explore on a nature walk and scavenger hunts. On our home based days we've got an escape room and puzzles, tye dye day, science experiments, craft painting, large scale construction, Block Printing, clay art, baking and a much requested retro games activity day which apparently has to have my garden mario assault course in again!
