It's been lovely welcoming everyone back into preschool for the autumn term both familiar and new faces.

A number of new children have joined us and they have all settled in so well. Everyone is getting used to the preschool routine and looking forward to lots of exciting topics and activities in the term ahead.

Ahoy there me hearties ☠️.
It's pirate week at preschool!
We're having a swashbuckling time dressing up, playing pirate games, designing parrots, hunting for gold, creating treasure maps and seeing if we can sink a teddy boat!
We've also made banana boats to eat for snack 😋

Our children who will be joining St Wilfrid's Catholic Primary School & Pre-School reception class in September are enjoying their regular visits into the reception classrooms in small groups.

There are lots of new areas and toys to explore and it really helps the transition process in September as they are excited about their new classrooms and teachers 😊

Wow it's a hot week at preschool!!
We're keeping cool by playing with gloop, flowers, shaving foam and lots of water play 💦.
We've also been talking about our feelings, looking at skills we can practice before reception and painting a self portrait 🎨

It's going to be a hot week so remember to put suncream on your child in the morning (we will reapply at lunch) and make sure they have a sun hat with them 🌞
