Welcome back St Matthew’s CofE Primary! 🐛 St Matthew’s used to visit us regularly for Forest School sessions when we were in Delamere. 🌲🌳Yesterday was their first visit to us at gorgeous new site at Pettypool - Girlguiding Cheshire Forest. I think it’s safe to say we had a great day. We look forward to seeing you again.

Elderflower cordial made at Forest School 🌼

🌼🌿 Lucky for us, we have Elderflowers in bloom at our new woodland, so this week the children made Elderflower cordial. We’re all looking forward to tasting it next week. 🌿
The rain came as expected so we gathered under the big shelter for a campfire story and to toast a snack.
🌲🪵 We still have spots available on Wednesdays. Who wants to join us for lots of outdoor fun and learning? 🐞🌿🌸

🌸☀️🌲Summer term has started but don’t worry we are still welcoming new children to our Wednesday sessions. 🌿🪵🐝
Today we made little clay pots and we decorated them with wildflowers that grow in our woodland setting. We also went to check out the den the ‘big boys’ made yesterday.

🌱9.30-10.30am or 11am-12pm
🌿18 months-5 years

Each session is an hour in the woods, we start with a short song to welcome everybody, we then have an optional ranger-led activity - a craft, game or hunt followed by free explorer play - hammocks, mud kitchen, stories, den building, small world play, swing, dinosaurs, diggers, puppets, tea parties, musical instruments & much more! We then finish with a fire toasting a snack 😋 and end with a song thanking everyone for our day 💓

🌲Home Ed Over 11s Group 🌲

We have places available on our home ed over 11s group which runs monthly on a Tuesday.

Our next session is this coming Tuesday, the 2nd June and we have 4 places available.

Adults do not stay with their children at this session.
