'Lest we forget....'
Cuddington Primary School pupils gathered with their local community to lay a wreath on behalf of us. There were representations from our school, from Brownies, from Guides and from Rainbows.
They demonstrated Respect, Dignity and Understanding. Our future; remembering the fallen from Cuddington and Sandiway π΅οΈπ―πͺβ€οΈ
Cuddington Primary School submitted their Y6 artwork to the historic war exhibition of the Cheshire Villages History Society today. Lifesize service people representing those in our village war memorial and those lost in battles past. These are lifesized, chalk drawings based on the work of artist Guy Denning, who created "112" a village installation to honour 112 men who did not return to the French village he now lives in.
The Y6 children also created their own 'Beautiful Work' to share what they have remembered from their history learning this term.
Thank you to 2 of our children who went to Northwich Station with children from all the other Northwich Schools to see the unveiling of our 'Sense of Place' art work. There are some very talented artists in Northwich! ποΈπ¨π .....and with their artwork, Northwich Train Station looks wonderful π
A little reminder for our Open Morning next week! We hope to see you there (and don't forget to bring your child)! π
