And now it's the turn of our KS1 and EYFS children.

The next stage of Sports Day is underway, and our youngest athletes are ready to show off their speed, determination and teamwork.

There are lots of smiles, cheers and excitement as the children take part in a variety of races and activities. We are so proud of the enthusiasm and sportsmanship they are showing already!

Good luck to all of our competitors – we're looking forward to seeing who comes out on top!

The KS2 children are giving it their all this morning as they compete in a range of sporting events, representing different World Cup teams from around the globe.

There has already been some fantastic teamwork, determination and sportsmanship on display, and the competition is heating up!

The big question is... will our Sports Day champions match the winners of the World Cup?

Good luck to all of our teams.

Following on from yesterday's Cheshire Show adventures, we're delighted to share some videos from the orchestra's performance in the Music Bowl.

The musicians opened the day with a fantastic set, showcasing all of the hard work, dedication and countless hours of rehearsal that go into creating such wonderful music. We are incredibly proud of how brilliantly they performed and hope you enjoy watching these highlights from the day.

The orchestra played brilliantly to open the day at the Cheshire Show’s music bowl. To thank them for their dedication to music and all of the hard work they put in to sounding so fab, they then got to enjoy some time looking around the show and watching an exciting motor-cross stunt show. 🏍️

We have made the decision to cancel the OPAL Stay and Play session at the end of the day due to the weather forecast.
The forecast is not looking very promising, and I’m sure none of us would relish the idea of spending time playing outside in the rain!

What a fantastic afternoon we have had with The Ridiculous Rhyme Show presented by Andy and Joe!

Children from EYFS to Year 4 were thoroughly entertained by the hilarious antics of Andy and Joe, enjoying lots of laughter while learning all about rhyming words. The children had great fun creating their own poems, rhymes and songs, showing off their creativity and imagination along the way.

Meanwhile, our Year 5 and 6 pupils enjoyed an inspiring session exploring the many careers involved in television production. They discovered the important roles played by actors, directors, camera operators, lighting engineers and many others who work behind the scenes to bring programmes to life.

A huge thank you to Andy and Joe for delivering such engaging, educational and entertaining workshops. The children had an amazing time and left with smiles on their faces and lots of new knowledge to take away!

A huge thank you to the wonderful children who represented our school as part of the Northwich Education Partnership's bee-friendly planting project!

The children had a fantastic time helping to plant up the town's planters with beautiful bee-friendly plants, and they did an amazing job. The finished displays look absolutely wonderful and will help support local pollinators while brightening up our town.

If you're visiting Northwich, be sure to keep an eye out for the planters and admire the children's hard work and creativity!

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Northwich Town Council for all their support in making this project possible. It was a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to get involved in the community and make a positive difference to the local environment.
