For players of all abilities or even those who enjoy listening to music, or want to come and sing along. Northwich Guitar Club is a weekly fun and friendly guitar social open to everyone and anyone interested in learning or being around guitars. We can support all ages from 14 upwards. Children under 16 yrs should be accompanied by an adult. All staff are professional tutors with current DBS check

s. The club is located at the Christ Church, 195 Chester Rd, Northwich CW8 4AG. The first session is free, after which membership is required; contact us for details. Here at Northwich Guitar Club, we aim to provide the following:

The chance to learn and perform as a whole group and/or in smaller 'peer-based' ensembles. you can work on the songs provided or working on the songs you choose with free expert tuition - bring spare chord/tab/sheet music if you wish. You can work on your own or in pairs and have a tutor on hand to support you when you're learning those 'tough bits'

We are always looking for singers and maybe the odd percussionist to give the sound more texture

A warm welcome to anyone, even those who don't play and an opportunity to just be social and be around music - spare guitars will be available for those who wish to try. please contact us beforehand to make sure one is available on the night. A 'Genius bar' section where you can learn more complex techniques from soloing to fingerpicking styles by booking in a short session during the night - this will need to be first come first served

An environment where all playing abilities are catered for, with potential grouping in some instances based on ability to help/support

Access to other guitar tutors who will be invited to help out and support, bringing new skills and techniques to the group

We will update this Facebook group too, which will share tips, tricks and performances as well as advertising the charity concerts we put on

And most importantly, refreshments will be available too! We hope you can come along and join the team!

The Northwich Guitar Club turns 15 next year, and we’re celebrating by launching a brand‑new women‑orientated starter group — fun, friendly, and perfect if you’ve always wanted to learn guitar with like-minded people.
