Year 3 had a wonderful day out at the Grosvenor Museum yesterday. We learnt what it would be like to be a Roman soldier and looked at different artefacts and replicas of items from Roman Britain 🙂

Reception and been investigating pushes and pulls. We found so many of our everyday activities involve a push or a pull. We’ve also been investigating different kinds of ramps.

Yesterday, members of staff found a hedgehog trapped in the sandpit netting. He was very tangled, soggy and covered in sand but was very grateful for our help. Mrs Campbell named him Brian so we all sprung into action for Operation Saving Private Brian. We had to use scissors to cut him out of the net and wear gloves so we didn’t get prickled by his spines. We then took him to hollybank vets who did a fantastic job at looking after him overnight. We are very grateful for their help with getting him back to fighting strength. We then released him back in our wild area, as you can see he was very happy to be back home and zoomed off straight away 🦔🌳❤️

A huge well done to 3 of our wonderful students who bought their sports awards in to show during our achievement assembly. They were awarded these for a variety of key sporting values and milestones and we couldn’t be more proud of them ☺️🤩🏆

It’s still raining but we go again!
