Hazel's Childminding is a fun, stimulating, happy environment for your child to learn through purposeful play, enjoying a variation of fun filled days, indoors and outdoors, to learn, grow and thrive in. I’m Hazel and I provide a safe, secure, happy environment for your child to learn through play and have plenty of opportunity to explore and most importantly have

fun! My house is well situated within a couple of minutes walk to the local library where children can enjoy rhyme time and other small group activities. The local children's centre is within a few minutes walk enabling children to mix with larger groups! At home we have a large enclosed garden with lots of outdoor play equipment such as sandpits, balls, bikes, play houses. Inside again has a large space with plenty of educational toys and games and of course plenty of arts and crafts that will involve lots of messy play! I follow the EYFS closely and have great understanding of this. Tracking children's development and looking at how I can further them, providing opportunities to help them achieve and support them where I need to. This will involve many opportunities to learn through fun stimulating play. Following their interests and seeing where it takes us! I'm a firm believer children will enjoy and gain lots from what they enjoy this will keep them motivated and happy to learn! A healthy diet is important and will be provided and promoted on a daily basis. I will work with parents if children have dietary requirements. Parents views and thoughts are important to me I consider parents "partners" in their child's learning and development. This is why I have good communication and ask parents feedback regularly, with this parents have stated how happy, settled and content their children are in my care and how happy they feel regarding the service I provide! Overall children will always be encouraged to have fun and explore their surroundings by many activities to take part in, my aim is to provide a fun filled day for every child to learn, grow and thrive in!

What a year…..

Before I head off to pack and get organised for my holiday, I wanted to say it’s been a fantastic year for the tots! It’s my pleasure looking after each and every single one of them. Watching them grow in confidence and turn into the most caring, thoughtful little people, helping them to complete their milestones and their own individual goals is the most rewarding part…..

Thank you for choosing me, thank you for the love, care and being like an extended family, all the recommendations from you all which keeps my business growing and recognised I value you all from the bottom of my heart.

14 years later I’m still loving it as much as the day I started and set up, taking a leap from a Primary school was the best decision I made as it’s allowed me to run things my way, nothing rushed, just time and compassion. From that day we’ve had two GOOD from Ofsted and one OUTSTANDING 🧡aswell as positive feedback from many schools and organisations. 🫶🏻

Soooo enjoy your two weeks with your little ones and I shall enjoy my family time and my big ones before Ruby gets her GCSE results.

The most beautiful memories with the most beautiful children who you all know I cherish as we approach another end of the year. The time gets closer to more leaving for school, 🏫 it’s never easy 🥹 what great times we have the laughter, memories, fun and time we spend caring, having fun together and simply being us!!!

Monday!!!

What a great day dodging the rain, we set up a car wash station the tots loved it, we have cleaned all the cars, set up dinosaurs on the builders tray, explored water, threw balls in hoops, sang, danced, watched the rain as we read stories and so many smiling little faces I was greeted with and pure happiness!!! Great day had by all I will say!!! 💛💛💛💛💛💛 ######
