This is Slippy the snail who has been the Pre-school's mascot for the past year!🐌

The children absolutely adore Slippy and they gave him his name! Slippy goes home with the children and goes on lots of adventure's with the children and their families to many different exciting places!

In September we will have a new mascot and we are very excited to see who our new Pre-school mascot will be!! 🥰

Our Pre School children had a fantastic time developing their own marble runs! 🏗️🔵

Through building, testing, and redesigning their creations, they explored critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity in action. The children worked together to overcome challenges, predict outcomes, and make improvements to keep their marbles moving successfully.

It was wonderful to see their imagination, perseverance, and teamwork shine as they experimented with different designs and ideas. Learning through play helps develop valuable skills that will support them across all areas of learning.

🥕🌱 The Butterfly Room have been busy little gardeners! 🌱🥕

The children have loved helping Helen grow our very own carrots from seed to harvest. After months of watering, caring for, and watching them grow, it was finally time to pull them up!

The children were so excited to discover what was hiding beneath the soil. They carefully pulled up the carrots, helped to wash and cut them, and of course enjoyed tasting the fruits of their hard work. 😋🥕

Growing our own vegetables is a fantastic way to teach children about where food comes from, encourage healthy eating, and develop patience and responsibility.

The most adorable way to support your local Hospice 💙

The wonderful team at Chrysalis Day Nursery Cheshire Limited recently organised a sponsored Olympics, with children of all ages getting involved – thank you so much for your kind donation of £2,134.30 to St Luke’s!

From babies to pre-schoolers, every group took part in a range of fun activities, including running races, egg and spoon races, obstacle courses and parachute games.

A huge thank you to everyone at Chrysalis Day Nursery for this amazing donation — and well done to all the children who took part! 🌟

This morning, we were delighted to present a cheque for an amazing £2134.30 to St Luke's Hospice, raised during our sponsored Chrysalis Olympics Week! 💙

We are so proud of all our wonderful children who took part with such enthusiasm, determination, and smiles. Their efforts, along with the incredible generosity and support from our families, helped us raise this fantastic amount for such a worthy cause.

A huge thank you to everyone who sponsored, donated, cheered us on, and helped make the week such a success. Together, we have made a real difference to our local community. 🌟

Our baby room love taking part in our daily “Mr Perky Bird” time to help promote speech and language development! 🐦🎶

Emma sings songs with the children, encouraging them to join in with actions, sounds and lots of smiles. We also spend time looking at photos of ourselves and our friends, helping the children to begin recognising familiar faces, learning their names and building those important early social skills. 📸💛

These simple daily interactions are a wonderful way to support communication, confidence and a sense of belonging within the nursery environment. Well done babies! 🌟
