We have having a cake sale to raise money for Macmillan cancer support!🍰

If anyone would like to bake any cakes, biscuits etc for our cake sale we would really appreciate it🧁

Dental Hygiene Advice:

🪥 Start brushing your baby's teeth as soon as the first milk tooth breaks through (usually at around 6 months, but it can be earlier or later).

🪥 It's important to use a fluoride toothpaste, as this helps prevent and control tooth decay.

🪥 Use fluoride toothpaste containing levels of fluoride between 1,350ppm and 1,500ppm to give your children's teeth the best protection.

🪥 Brush teeth twice daily for about 2 minutes.

🪥 Brush last thing at night before bed and on 1 other occasion.

🪥 For children aged 0-3 use only a smear of toothpaste on their brush.

🪥 For children aged 3-6 use a peasize amount of toothpaste on their brush.

🪥 Make sure children don't eat or lick toothpaste from the tube.

🪥 Babies and children should visit the dentist twice a year.

😬 As a nursery we encourage oral hygiene activities and books to help support the children in making better choices in terms of food and healthy eating to prmote good oral hygeine.
We have home learnng bags to help educate your chidlren at home.

❤️ Keeping Our Chrysalis Family Safe ❤️

We are delighted to share that we now have TWO brand-new defibrillators (defibs) at Chrysalis Day Nursery! 🫶🏼 (Due to the generous fundraising from all the parents in the nursery.)

As part of our commitment to keeping our children, families and staff as safe as possible, Mark came into our September staff meeting to refresh the whole team on how to use the defibrillators and what to do in an emergency.

It’s really important to us that our staff feel confident, prepared and knowledgeable should an emergency ever occur. Our new defibs are easy to use and provide clear instructions to guide you through what to do.

A huge thank you to Mark for taking the time to refresh our team and ensure everyone feels confident using this potentially life-saving equipment. ❤️

At Chrysalis, the safety and wellbeing of our children, families and staff will always be our priority. 🌟
