If you’ve been freezing your hot water bottle to get you through the hot weather, you need to read this.

The rubber in hot water bottles can degrade if you freeze them, making it unsafe to use with hot water later.

If you freeze a hot water bottle this summer, please don’t use it again in the colder months.

The burns from a damaged hot water bottle can cause life-changing injuries. It’s not worth the risk.

My youngest has taken it upon himself to climb the 3 peaks in 3 days this weekend. He is 11 and wanted to challenge himself to raise money for Children in Need. So we are on our way up to Fort William this evening for him to start at 6am tomorrow morning ⛰️
The Explorers have been busy making him a Good Luck poster today ❤️❤️🍀⛰️⛰️⛰️

So much time spent outside this week.

We have been to the woods, to numerous parks, made obstacle courses in the garden, used brushes and sponges to clean the toys, explored dry sand and funnels, and we have all had a go at gaining confidence with throwing, catching and kicking.

As well as this we enjoyed a lovely session at Jojingles.com/midcheshire2chester at the local care home. We all love these sessions 💕

The Wellness in the Wild session at the woods was really wholesome and the children got so much out of it!

Lots of rainy activities these last few weeks as we start June.
Who doesnt love puddles though? And watching the rain make patterns in the pond!
When the rain got too bad, we've baked some Gingerbread men after reading the story, and explored paints in many forms.

We've started to explore the World Cup, with football skills and looking at flags from other countries.

But there is no better way to play out in the wet weather than playing with friends !

Our explorers have loved watching our caterpillars grow and change into their chrysalis and then the ultimate excitement when we noticed butterflies appear!

We all decided we wouldn't like to taste with our feet like butterflies do!

April in 30 seconds!

A month of slight change at Hayley's Happy Explorers with having no car, so lots more walking to explore the local parks and lots more fun in the garden.

We have explored Earth Day, the explorers have become confident in tackling bigger challenges at the park. Our younger explorers are getting very vocal with their animal noises.
Our road safety knowledge is coming on really well and we have been loving the dry days. We have been reading outside in the sunshine and even doing our craft as well as exploring pur new tyres and outdoor equipment. ❤️
