We currently have spaces available in our Pre-School Room for 3-5 year old's.

We accept 15 hours and 30 hours free funding from the term after your child's third birthday dependent on parental circumstances and government criteria.

Acorn Childcare Nursery would like to recruit a Nursery Nurse for our day Nursery in Hartford.

The role will be 38 hours a week between the hours of 8am - 6pm. Ideally 4 Days working 8am-6pm with a set day off. However we may be able to be flexible for the right candidate

Duties include:
Caring for children aged 0-5 years
Completion of planning, observations and learning journeys
Planning child initiated activities
Liaising with parents and outside agencies
Implementing the daily routine
Working to create a warm atmosphere throughout the Nursery

Skills required:
Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
Punctual and reliable
Qualified to Level 3 in childcare
Friendly and caring nature
Team player
Ideally a paediatric first aid qualification

Due to our increasing child numbers, Acorn Childcare Nursery would like to recruit a Childcare Practitioner for our Out of School Club located in Davenham.

The hours for this job role will be 3pm-6pm four evenings a week. This is a term time only role.

Duties include:

Collecting children from school in a safe and professional manner
Caring for children aged 4-11 years
Completion of Reception children's scrapbooks
Liaising with parents and outside agencies
Implementing fun and appropriate activities
Working to create a warm atmosphere throughout the Out of School Club
Skills required:

Punctual and reliable
Previous experience working with children
Friendly and caring nature
Team player
