Look who is joining our school in March!

We are very excited that next month we will be welcoming 3 lovely female alpacas to our farm. They are only 1 year old and we know our students are going to really enjoy looking after them!

We are devastated to share that our gorgeous boy, Rudy, crossed the rainbow bridge on Friday. Farm staff and students have taken this loss very hard, and we will all miss him so much.

Rudy was such a character! So cheeky and always up to something. He loved raw pasta, and stealing apples from the trees.

Sweet dreams our fabulous boy.

We are excited to announce our newest family member to our goat paddock!🐐

This is Tarquin, a male pygmy goat around 8 - 10 years old. He is very much a people person, loves a bit of fuss and can get quite vocal if you are not paying attention to him!

Echo hasn't taken an interest in him, in his old age we don't think he really cares! However with Rudy, there has been a small amount of head butts but that's only them sorting out who's going to be top buck!

3 new female ducks have made their way to the Waddle On Inn. Introducing Dawn, Drusilla and Deanna!

Dawn is a khaki Campbell and is dark brown. Drusilla is a cayuga and is black.
Deanna is an Indian runner and is light brown.

All 3 are at the moment are quite shy but hopefully with time we can see their personalites grow.

Over the summer break, we had 2 handsome visitors come to see the farm.

Sami, one of our volunteers, brought in their German Shepherd, TJ, for Saturday Farm Club to see. The children thoroughly enjoyed giving him lots of cuddles and attention. He was on his best behaviour and is always welcomed back.

Hannah, the Farm Supervisor, also brought in her Great Dane, Derek, for a little photoshoot. We couldn't stop laughing as the majority of the photos was just him pulling a silly face or him jumping senselessly in the air! 🐾

New animal alert!

At the start of the summer break, we added 3 female quail to the covey and continuing on with our berry theme they are called Mulberry, Bilberry and Cloudberry.

Gooseberry, Winterberry and Huckleberry was cautious at first but in no time everyone settled in with ease and is one happy family.
