We are delighted to share our new fortnightly “boogie beats” music and movement sessions has been a huge hit with all the children!
This week, the classic story “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt” was brought to life through singing, movement and props. These sessions are a wonderful way to support the children’s development across many areas, including literacy, mathematics, and expressive arts. It was lovely to see children of all ages joining in together, making it a truly inclusive experience for all. We are already looking forward to our next session.

Are you looking for a nurturing and engaging environment for your child? We are delighted to share that we currently have a few spaces available at The Red Brick Day Nursery. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality care and early education in a supportive setting.

We were thrilled to host a visit from Zoo Lab for our end of term treat, which brought an array of truly fascinating creatures for the children to meet. It was a wonderful opportunity for hands-on learning and discovery.

Throughout the session, the children were absolutely brilliant. They demonstrated excellent communication skills as they engaged with the animals, and they were very careful to use "kind hands" when interacting with the creatures. It was also lovely to see them practicing such good listening, which allowed them to learn so much about the different species. Their curiosity really shone through, as they asked many thoughtful and interesting questions throughout the visit.

Thank you to everyone at Zoo Lab for such an engaging experience, and well done to all the children for being so attentive and respectful!

Splashing into learning! 💦 Today was all about water play. It’s amazing how much the toddler’s learn by exploring the water.

Beyond the fun, this simple activity is a powerhouse for early development:

Communication and Language: We’re building vocabulary by talking about "full," "empty," "splash," and "bubbles" while playing.
💪🏼Physical Development: Perfecting those fine motor skills while pouring, scooping, and squeezing sponges.
👯Personal, Social, and Emotional Development: Building confidence, focus, and a sense of independence as they explore the water in their own way.

Are you looking for a nursery for your little one, we have limited spaces for September 😊

What an incredible week in the toddler room! We have been so busy exploring, creating, and learning together.

Our days were filled with:
👨‍🍳Cooking: Stirring, mixing, and exploring new textures.
🎨Painting masterpieces and diving into messy play.
📚Getting lost in the magic of our favorite storybooks.
🧱Building: Engineering tall towers and creative structures.
❤️Most importantly, watching our little ones grow closer, share, and build beautiful friendships.
It’s a joy to watch them learn and discover the world around them every single day!
We love our toddlers!
