Good luck and goodbye to our fabulous Year 6s 👋 We will miss you and wish you all the best at your new schools.

A reminder that we will be holding an exciting stay late event for our current Year 6 pupils on Friday 11th July!

This will involve outdoor crafting and building activities (weather permitting), creative arts, and a swimming session. There will also be a sing-along and a barbecue to finish the evening off.

We’re excited to remind you that tomorrow, Thursday 3rd July, we will be holding a Maths Sensory Day at school! The theme for the day is water, and the focus will be on exploring capacity and measurement through fun, hands-on activities.
As many of the activities will involve water play, we kindly ask that you provide your child with a spare set of clothes, as they will probably get wet! We also ask that children arrive at school with sun cream already applied, as we plan to spend a good amount of time learning outdoors.

What a Royal week we have had! 👑
On Wednesday 14th May, our Headteacher, Lesley Elder, represented Fairfields School at the King's Garden Party at Buckingham Palace. The King held this party to thank people for their contributions to education and skills. 🥪🥂
Today, we welcomed the Lord Lieutenant of Northamptonshire into school. He toured the school and met with our Pupil Wellbeing Champions, who had lots of interesting questions for him!
What a way to end the term! Wishing our families and staff a wonderful break. See you all back at school on Monday 2nd June.

🧡💛💚 Vacancy: Parent Governor 🧡💛💚

We are looking for nominations to elect a new parent governor to join the Governing Body of Fairfields. As you know, Fairfields aims for strong and effective partnerships with parents/carers to ensure the best outcomes for our pupils. One of the best ways you can help is to volunteer as a Parent Governor.

Parent Governors are valued members of the Governing Body as they offer a parental perspective (but are not expected to speak for all parents nor deal with complaints). Anyone with parental responsibility for a pupil on the school roll at the time of this election can stand and vote.

Fairfields School, Northampton - Our Governors Our Governing Body is made up of Parents, Staff, Community and Local Authority Governors. They are responsible for the strategic leadership of the school and ensuring the school runs effectively. They also decide school policies and procedures.
