NewMan Active

A new chapter for NewMan Active and Play Footy ⚽️

Over the last few months, Play Footy has grown far quicker than I ever expected.

What started as a few walking football sessions has developed into a proper football community, with regular sessions, Play Footy FC, competitive teams, 1:1 coaching and plenty more ideas already in the pipeline.

Because of that, I’ve decided that from now on all of the football side of NewMan Active will sit under the Play Footy brand.

That means Play Footy / Play Footy FC will now be the home for:
⚽️ Walking football
⚽️ Play Footy FC teams
⚽️ 1:1 football coaching
⚽️ Football fitness and development
⚽️ Future football sessions, teams and projects

NewMan Active isn’t going anywhere.

It will continue to focus on the areas it was originally created around — mental health, wellbeing, fitness and helping people become healthier and more active.

For me, this just makes everything clearer.

NewMan Active = wellbeing and healthy living.
Play Footy = football.

And with everything happening around Play Footy at the moment, this really does feel like only the beginning.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported either brand so far, especially the players who have helped turn Play Footy into the community it’s becoming.

Football For Everyone. ⚽️🦖

Looking for things to do over the half term and want your kids to be off their screens and getting ready for the new season ahead, message me to organise a small group session on our purpose built football pitch.

Had a fab half day doing my very first summer fete with the Brixworth CEVC Primary School PTA fab event with lots of stalls, meeting lots of great parents and players.
Thanks to all those that took part and to those that took the time to come and say hello. 🙋🏻‍♂️⚽️

Session 2 of our pre season training videos, this time we are working on our weaker foot, practice makes perfect, even if it’s just five mins a couple of times a week, consistent training of the weaker foot can only improve your technique.

This is the first in a series of short videos I shall be sharing to give something for your young players to work on over the summer, a wall and a ball in many cases is all you need!
