🎉🎉🎉So very proud of all my maths students ! 12 out of 12 passes and a few moved up 2 grades from September ! They were really Covid kids and so they have all done so well ! 🎉🎉🎉

Beautiful flowers from one of my fab students ! Everyone worked so hard and some made one or even two grades of progress since September ! It’s been a challenging year for them on top of the disadvantages they had during the pandemic but nearly everyone got what they needed to make their next steps into their first choice school or college! So proud of them and grateful for such a rewarding job 😊

What an amazing night watching Pink and her amazing band and dancers last night. She is so incredibly talented ! So sorry that we couldn’t find Suzanne Evans or Sarah Mullins to share the joy!

I can’t believe that we have reached Easter already ! I have still been very busy during the pandemic! Like many tutors I switched over to remote teaching on Zoom. By and large it has proved very successful! The only lessons that were a real challenge were those where a protractor was involved 😂. So I am really now focussing on supporting students as they prepare for their GCSE ‘assessments ‘ by revising specific subjects and continuing to look at past papers. Despite the uncertainty and inherent stress involved, I am confident that all my students are going to rock it ! 😎

So we are starting the summer term in extraordinary circumstances and it obviously caused a sudden halt to teaching my fabulous year 11’s! I really miss them! However, I am continuing to teach my Key stage 3 maths students using FaceTime! It’s obviously a bit different but no less effective and enjoyable ! If you know any students, particularly those in year 10 who would be interested in additional maths lessons, then please DM me ! 😊

So the run up to exams is finally here and so my year 11 students and I are still focussing on last minute trouble shooting as well as exam technique ...my younger students and I are focussing on areas that I know the older ones always find tricky ! Busy busy busy ! 😊
