If you haven’t already seen in the media there has been an outbreak of Strep A which can be very serious.

Please can everyone be extra vigilant about sending children in poorly. If they have any new rashes they must not come in unless it’s been checked by a doctor first.

First signs are a sore throat and high temperature followed by a sand paper like rash .

Hopefully with vigilant infection control we can all get through Christmas without being poorly xx

Today we are very busy with pumpkins 🎃 we have been using spoons to scoop out the pumpkin seeds and sticking stickers on them to create some scary faces! We had lots of fun doing this as you can see # # #

Today is all about filling and emptying!!

How many spoons of pasta does it take to fill the pot?? Why is it filling one pot quicker than the other??

Lots of number language and size language being used here!!

What’s best is they are having fun and don’t even realise they are learning ❤️❤️

Today we have been learning all about fireworks and the colours and noises they make! Of course we had to create our own firework picture 🎇🧨🎆

All pre-school children work towards the Early Years Framework. Level 6 qualified in childcare having completed a degree in Early Childhood Studies. Also, first aid, hygiene and trained as a Special Educational Needs coordinator.

Childcare vouchers are accepted and I am also registered to offer free government funding for 2-4 year olds and the tax free child care scheme.

I also have limited spaces for October Half Term and also school drop off and pick up for ages 4-9 from Hopping Hill Primary School and school holiday care. Hours are between 7:00am-6pm

SCHOOL HOLIDAY CARE AVAILABLE

I'm a childminder based in Duston and due to a number of my new starters being term time only I have availability for both the Easter & Summer school holidays.

I like to mix home activities such as games, cooking, films and arts & crafts with regular trips out to country parks, playgrounds and we even went bowling in February.
