Acorns mini explorers adventure 😃

We went for a run around and a picnic at the pocket park , we explored the whole park and found some amazing things - sticks, weeds, leaves, bugs, butterflies and some dinosaurs in the trees.

We enjoyed feeling it, watching it melt and breaking it with our hands.

The babies have enjoyed the sensory walk activity today and feeling different textures on their bare feet.

The babies really enjoyed exploring our DIY small world road site 😍

Using our hands to manipulate how to move the cars especially around obstacles and some lovely role play , brrrrrr and beep beep was used a lot.

This morning, for Mini Explorers, the Oaks went on an exciting wildlife hunt. We ventured through the woods and across the fields, using our observation skills to spot a variety of wildlife. The children were delighted to find butterflies, ladybirds, ants and birds, talking about what they noticed and asking lots of questions about the natural world. 🦋
The children also thoroughly enjoyed exploring the woodland environment, climbing trees and navigating the uneven ground with confidence. These experiences encouraged them to take managed risks, develop their balance, coordination and gross motor skills, while building resilience and self-confidence. 🌲
