New season, new start, new members! We are proud to announce we are recruiting for our next generation of street dancers to compete in national competitions and shows!

We have an incredible track record at Dexterity winning titles at world championships, and it’s time to develop our next generation.

If your child is addicted to ‘Tic Tok’ or ‘Just Dance’ bring your routines to life with in our weekly Junior Crew training.

Non competitive classes also available on Saturdays and Tuesdays 😁 & .rose98 & .bordone

Check out our fabulous teacher He’s a ridiculously talented choreographer and a super friendly and nurturing teacher, not to mention a current top commercial dancer!… as are all our teachers..

Try outs are throughout September (4 weeks) Crew selection thereafter.

We are excited to reintroduce 2 new disciplines back onto the curriculum at Dexterity. Musical Theatre and Tap.

We are lucky to have .kayzinha.smith to bring her wealth of knowledge and experience from the professional world of theatre production into the studio.

Musical Theatre will span singing, acting and dancing through fun and creative lessons.

Tap will provide fundamental beginners technique in American style tap through a variety of rhythm, theatrical and funk styles including free style.

Classes are split initially into 2 age groups Primary & Secondary age. Later ability groups will evolve with class development.

Congratulations Libby! You’re off to Laban Conservatoire of Dance to study Contemporary with the best! I am so proud of all that you achieved with us at Dexterity. An O.G through and through! You’ve always been an incredible all rounder! Every teacher rates your abilities. You have represented at the top level in so many Dex teams. Winning titles in Rhythmic, street crews, modern, character and much more! You have a fighting spirit like no other, you are a leader in many ways. You’re strength of character will serve you well in the world of Dance. Your diverse ability will open doors all over the world. I won’t lie you’re life opportunities make me wanna be 18 all over again. Go get em Libs!

Congratulations to our Matt . He has now secured yet another fantastic job working with . He is indeed the second of my students to go on and successfully work for this dance company. Previously danced for many years with 2faced. 😍 Matt trained with me at Dexterity from 2011 to 2019. Working with and during his time with me. He then secured a place at the prestigious when he trained for 2 years then went on to the fabulous JV2 company . It is so fabulous to see my students careers unfold. Dexterity Dares to be different in the dance training of young people. Surrounded by much love and support. My students are encouraged explore their own language of dance through personal experience. I provide industry professionals to teach them current and relevant dance technique and provide at least 2 choreographed dance shows a year and numerous “Choreography Challenges” We do all this with no additional cost and no exams. Every student wishing to embark on professional training has succeeded with bells on. Every student taking Dance at GCSE or ALEVEL has achieved A or A* …… Dexterity a place where your child can shine

Congratulations Foxy for achieving an unconditional place at Northern School of Contemporary Dance. BA(hons) Dance (Contemporary) such a journey from rhythmic gymnast to dancer. A route that we at Dexterity are well known for. You have been an immaculate student, always ready and willing to try new things, explore new movement and create dance from your soul. You have helped many younger students along the way and been a fantastic leader and coach. I can’t wait till you come back each break and come back to share your journey with me and our students. You are a true O.G one of my first tiny students when I opened Dexterity. And now such a fantastic young women with the world at your feet! Good Luck Fox. We will all miss you!

Some call it Modern and do syllabus ….. Dexterity dares to be different and we use industry professionals to teach classical jazz technique and theatre jazz to develop our students. No exams and loads of choreography. Our graduates are continually working at the highest level in the professional dance world and our current graduates continue to be accepted in the best conservatoires around the county. All students take part in at least 2 fun shows a year and have the opportunity to make bespoke dance films with theatre lighting and staging. Our in house photographer and film maker can bring your footage to life. Competitive Dance teams also thrive here. The Dexterity community is fun loving and inclusive. Come trial any classes. Congratulations to Phoebe Leighton who has just graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Dance with a FIRST CLASS HONOURS DEGREE 🎉🎉🎉 I am honestly so proud. What a wonderful woman you are! A true inspiration to me and all my students.
